Waited 40 minutes for food!! Walked out!! Waitress never checked on us, nor refilled our drinks. We order 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad.... Tried to tell hostess however not anywhere in site. Wow

The food was good but there was very little of it. We had lunch salads, soup, and one person had a chicken salad sandwich ona croissant. Barely enough chicken salad to see it between the corissant bun. Also I guess we just expected more by way of presentation. Elegant setting with linen tablecloths and napkins but the food presentation left... More

My wife and I stopped as the place looked nice and a great location. We waited at least 15 minutes at the hostess station....no one there....people ahead of us finally just left. We peaked into the restaurant and the "harried waitress" told us to go back to the front and a hostess would come...about five minutes later she did show... More

Food was delicious. Decor is very nice - open and airy. Service was a little slow but we weren't in a hurry.

This used to be a great place for lunch & breakfast but I would not go there again. View & setting is still wonderful but the food is like any greasy spoon. Menu selections are very limited. It's always weird to walk into a once very popular restaurant to find it almost empty. They won't survive unless food & menu... More

This place has a panini that is outstanding!!! A great way to relax and enjoy a moment away from the "Lake Activities"

I had been to House on the Hill in the past....and it suffered from spotty service and food. Not so for this season... The food is really great, fresh and generously portioned plus the service couldn't be better. I can't wait to eat there again. Yes it's slightly more expensive than the mom and pop breakfast and lunch places, but... More

Looks like a B&B very clean and beautiful decor . An awesome view of Chautauqua Lake. We sat inside deck for outside sitting available. We went Sunday morning opens at 10 am. The service was a bit slow but I think training taking place early in the season. We each had quiche three onion mushroom and ham, served with a... More

This is a seasonal restaurant that closes in the fall and opens again in the late srping. It sits up on a hill with a great view of Chautauqua Lake. There are outdoor seats on the surround porch, as well as dining inside. The food is very good and the wine list is good as well. The service is prompt... More

Went for lunch. Supposedly they serve until 2:30PM. We got there shortly after lunch hour rush on Friday-the start of the last weekend before Labor Day, the height of tourist season at Lake Chautaqua. There were 2 couples in the dining room and 5 people on the patio. There were 3 wait staff and a busboy, but it took almost... More
