We stopped at what is now called the Marlboro Diner. All we wanted was a quick bite so we could be on our way. Service was really good, and the food is delicious. We got a Reuben and a club sandwich. Both orders were fresh and exactly what we wanted. Fries were hot and crispy. The diner prices were very... More

I found the food here to be a great value, the place is super clean, the wait staff is very friendly and attentive. The quality of a salad is what tells me if a restaurant is attentive to quality. If its all iceberg and wooden tomatoes, I won't be back. BUT here I was given a crisp green salad, with... More

The Hudson Diner as of today, March 4th, does not appear to be opened. It has been closed on and off for renovations. When last open, it was your average diner. Over abundance of menu items. Staff were very friendly, but service a little on the slow side. Food was average. An ok place to grab Sunday breakfast or a... More

This is a diner that within the past year has expanded. There isn't anything exceptional at this diner, and like lots of other diners in the area, isn't opened late or 24/7. The food is acceptable but nothing special. The waitstaff is friendly. It's a good place for a quick meal. As with most diners, you are served large portions.... More

My husband and I stopped here on the way home from a soccer game in Poughkeepsie, so we ate at an unusual time; about 4:00 on a Sunday. The place was not busy, it was clean and we were greeted by a friendly waitress. I ordered the beef barley soup, which was home made and excellent, and the Phila burger,... More

This diner has recently been renovated and an addition was added to create a larger dining area. When you go here, you can definitely expect "diner type" food. They have a large selection and the prices can't be beat. You can get a full meal, beverage, soup & salad, entree, and dessert for one price! The service is good. It's... More

We stopped here one morning for breakfast and got an average diner breakfast, which was good, but nothing extra. Seemed to be several locals there who were there daily. It was across the board average diner fare, menu to service to food prep. But there is nothing wrong with that.

My dinner on Saturday evening was very good, quick service, the coffee was good, and the Fatita was excellent. It was served hot and quickly. With all the condiments needed. And for a decent price. Portion was large enough to be filling. I believe there is new managment in the diner and I found it quite good...I will return. It... More

This diner used to be lovely but has gone downhill since changing hands. Sadly, I now find it mediocre at best.

Bergs, you sound a little unreasonable to me. I ate here over the weekend and the food & service was excellent. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. The food came out fast. The portions were huge. The price was right. Looks can be deceiving. The place looks a little dilapidated, but I don't require an impressive ambiance at breakfast.... More
