Went for late weekday lunch. Small dining area. Many locals who all seemed to know each other in a warm and friendly way. Wait staff and kitchen staff were also very warm and friendly. We had pizza which was good, an eggplant parm wedge which was good and a meatball parm wedge which was great. Large servings. Good espresso. It... More

I didn't expect much from what looks like an ordinary pizza joint, but I was quite pleasantly surprised when I went to Pizza Gourmet on a Saturday night with a friend. We had a short wait - about 10 minutes - because the place isn't huge. Staff was very pleasant and seemed quite on the ball in terms of letting... More

Pizza is great. Focaccia slice is the best. Entree's rival the best Italian rest...and no matter how busy they are they greet with a smile and say thank you...wow isn't that that the way it's supposed to work?

I love this place. Gets pretty crowded around dinner time so I tend to get it to go. The food is fresh and well prepared. The staff is so courteous. Pizza is good; however, if your in the mood for some home cooked Italian, move beyond the pizza. You will not be disappointed.

Don't let this small typically very crowded restaurant turn you away. You won't find a better Pizza/restaurant anywhere in Westchester. The food is always prepared fresh. If you don't see what you want on the menu owner Phil will do his very best to try and make it happen. JM

Ask and you shall receive. Start with a wonderful salad, or a fish salad. The various fish, shrimp, clams, calmari over a bed of macaroni amazingly tasty and better then many of your upscale Italian restaurants. The veal chops, steaks, lamb chops are also excellent and of course a simply foccia pizza all very flavorful. Lemons and olives add flavor... More

The food is good but be prepared to wait a while. They don't always get your order right. Place is very small and tables are crammed. Worth going now and then.

If for some reason sal's doesn't do it for you (lines, don't deliver, etc.) then pizza gourmet is the next best option. Pizza is good, calzones are excellent, and service is fast. Unfortunately the days of $1.50 slices are long gone and your best bet for value is to split a pie with a friend or three. I definitely recomend... More

This family owned Pizzeria may not seem as if the food any good, but it is ! Owner Phil and Chef Vinny are a match made in food heaven ! Phil takes care of each and every customer, while Chef Vinny takes care of each and every DELICIOUS dish that comes out of the kitchen !!! The overall service is... More
