Just like there's no place like home, there's no place like Sal's for pizza. The Sicilian is perfectly cooked and cheesy and if you're a corner man, this slice is the finest. The salad slices are a delicacy that you can't miss. The plain is the highest quality cheese and sauce. Now, onto other things. Broccoli garlic dish and minnestrone... More

As a kid Sal's was the best pizza I can remember. I was in town after 20+ years and its still the best pizza in Westchester!!! Just like ole times. So glad some things never change.

I grew up in Harrison and would visit Sal's all the time. I moved away 18 years ago and have attempted to find a pizzeria remotely close to the quality of deliciousness that is Sal's but have been unsuccessful. Every time I visit home I have to make a trip to Sal's and even today am still in love with... More

Sal's seems to be famous in this town, I went in for a slice and a coke, The place was packed with people picking up their orders and many eating in. My slice was good, not the best I have had, but very decent.

Honestly, I can't believe some of these reviews. When I come into town, either Sal's is my first stop or I'm there within the next 24 hours. We always bring at least one pizza back home (out-of state) too, but we often take 2-3 pies back with us. When we go to Sal's, I get the regular slices and the... More

For very ordinary, old-style (not in a good way) pizza, this is the place. Forty years ago I went for great meatball wedges. Now, it isn't worth the trip out of the way for pizza.

This place is deep in my heart. It is a legendary establishment to all who grew up in southern Westchester. One approaching from the outside might wonder why. For me, it is hard to separate the memories of this establishment from the quality of the food. Is it really so good? There were five pizzerias on Mamaroneck Avenue in Mam'k... More

I have started to really enjoy Brick Oven Pizza, but you can't beat Sal's for old fasion pizza. If you haven't been there , you are missing a local treat.

When we moved into the area we tried Sal's and thought it was pretty good pizza. (I understand their Sicilian slices are better.) For some reason as time went by, the pizza sauce seemed bland and nearly tasteless. We started going to other pizzerias around town and discovered better and better NY pizzas with more creative toppings. In addition, the... More

Sal's is ok. The sicilian is better than most. The pie is mostly good. However, you can get an overcooked one on busy nights. The guys here are very interested in flirting with young ladies. Some, young enough to be their daughters! This is very off putting. Mostly, I think the hype is built by nostalgia.
