Food was average. To much noise. Service was terrible had to wait to long between appetizer and meal. Other people sat down after us and were served before us. It's like we were forgotten. Never again.

My husband and I have been to Ramiro's at least 3 times. Once for brunch which was wonderful. Not a ton of items, but more than enough. Both times we had dinner we enjoyed everything that we had. The best empanadas we have ever had, including in NYC. Everyone that has gone that we recommended loved it. The service was... More

Great place! Been there three times and each time was a wonderful dining experience. The tuna ceviche, empanadas chicken wins are excellent apps! The PERNIL con mojo and salmon in salsa verde are delicious! They have a very nice bar in case you have to wait. Overall, it's a Latin fusion experience! Give it a try you won't be disappointed. You must be kidding me. I ordered paella, and my wife ordered the pernil. The best way to describe the food TASTELESS!. They would never make it anywhere other than a place like Mahopac where the community for the most part does not know what real Castilian Spanish food is, or for that fact any real flavors of true Spanish... CONSISTENCY is the key. Chef Ramiro and his wife, Jan, have achieved something most restaurants can't seem to sustain. The food, the service, the ambiance and cleanliness are always top priority. We have been going to Ramiro's since it opened and have never had a bad meal. We are treated like family, the staff is attentive and pleasant and the... More

Great food, nice music however I went there to celebrate a birthday. I bought 9 people who had never been there. When I made the reservation, and upon arrival I stated it was a birthday celebration. Well I was forced to pay a $60.00 tip! Forced! The waitress/owner forgot about the birthday . When I mentioned it I was given... More

We've been coming here almost since opening day, and we continue to drop in often. The cuisine is Mexican with some Cuban dishes making their way into the menu over the years. But please don't have in mind the usual taco/enchilada combos you may have come to expect. Ramiro Jimenez is making the most delicious meals ever, especially for this... More

Have eaten here on a number of occasions. Always enjoy the unique menu. Drinks are good ...even a jalapeño coconut margarita. Service also was very good. Recommended.

I saw a discount coupon for the restaurant. Since my husband and I like Spanish food we decided to give it a try. The place was quaint with a nice bar and upstairs private room. We ordered the ceviche trio, Salmon, tuna, and shrimp and empanadas for appetizers. The ceviche was the best I ever had and my husband said... More
