Average Italian

Average Italian fare that is probably considered good for the locals who don't trek to NYC for good Italian food. Pizza was like cardboard and the sauce tastes like they added cups of sugar (never!!)

Thd baked Ziti was not baked....more like microwaved ziti........the chicken piccata looked like the chicken breast was right along side of the ziti in the microwave. The waitress dropped off the food and literally was never seen again. I stood,at the front for 10 minutes waiting for them to find her to get my check. WORSE FOOD AND SERVICE EVER.... More

Just got home from having a GREAT dinner with my exercise friends at Dante's. The food was excellent , service great, and price was perfect. There were 10 of us, and everyone was very happy with their dinner. We will most definitely be returning.

Friends and I had lunch there recently and my flounder florentine was very good. Two large pieces very fresh and tender. Prices were reasonable. We had, however, to sit in the back room which can be dark and dreary. Otherwise, the main room atmosphere, service and food are quite good.

I've gotten pizza for take out and it was good. I saw a Groupon deal and decided to dine in. We were seated right away and our waitress was very nice and attentive. Bread and apps came out quickly. Unfortunately, it went down hill from here. We waited over an hour for our entrees. When they finally came a foul... More

I feel that the food is very good and reasonably priced. Service is pleasant. It gets a little noisy when there is a party in the back room.

Be very careful ordering from the online menu. Dishes different AND prices very different. Ordered veal sorrentino with mussels. Price double what was on line and NO Mussels. Additionally, dish was very starchy and not very appealing. Antipasto was OK. Won't be going back. Much better places, in both quality and price, are readily available.

The food is good, typical pizzeria/restaurant food. Yes they do get large parties because they are a family restaurant. They have ben a staple in the community for years. The food is definitely worth the price. The owners are the most pleasant people and try to please each and every diner. They do fill quickly on a Friday night; that... More

We received a gift certificate for Dantes. It is definitely a local place. The food was good and the servers pleasant.

Without a doubt this is definitely a neighborhood place where you can go and relax and enjoy a delicious meal at a very reasonable price. Check out the Monday through Thursday specials! So delicious and reasonable it's not worth cooking!
