What a great dinner and good time we had!

We love the variety of entrees and the great staff. We are always comfortable and never feel rushed to leave. It really is a pleasant experience to dine here.

This is a nice small Italian bakery that has a real hometown feel. The cookies are my favorite and I like to pick up birthday cakes here. Friendly service and almost never a wait. Try everything!

Don't drive by fast, you will miss it. Don't be fooled, open the doors you'll be pleasantly surprised. The casada cream cake simply can't be beat! The breads are all delicious and you will swear they were baked in Brooklyn! The cookies are great as well. All said, its a home run!

This is one of the best Italian bakeries around in our area. To sum up how good they are, we even had our wedding cake made by them. :)

Stumbled upon the Italian Bakery, while in East Rockaway with a group of High School Students, helping area residents repair their homes after Super Storm Sandy. One of the girls was having a birthday, so we needed a cake to feed 80+ teenagers. It was the best sheet cake I've ever eaten and reasonably priced. They accepted our order with... More

I went to this bakery on the recommendation of a local deli in East Rockaway. I had no clue this bakery existed. It's always a good sign when you enter a food establishment and the smell of their treats engulfs the place. I got an assortment of mini pastries. They were simply delicious. I'm so glad I know about this... More

While the baked goods at Prosperi are very good, the bread is OUTSTANDING. We will not buy our bread from anyone else, and when going to anyone's house for dinner, they always request that we bring Prosperi's semolina bread.

I visit almost every other week. The cannolis are very good as well as the cookies. The rainbow cookies are very tasty as well. I notice many people come in to buy their bread but have never purchased them myself, maybe next time.

So many treats that remind me of growing up in Brooklyn in an Italian family, going over friends houses and bringing Italian pasteries. Yum! Thanks for the memories, and excellent pastries!

Large selection, food is fresh, service is OK. It is a little pricey.
