One of my top Thai choices in NYC.

The place is humble, decorated in a very discrete traditional way. Service was decent in terms of warmth, but very good in general. The food reaches perfection for my Thai preferences. There are only 1-2 other places in the city that I would put next to Tuk Tuk, but all of them in a higher... read more

I'm sorry but I had to give this restaurant 5 stars regardless of going back and forth looking for the restaurant like crazy. When people say it's a hidden gem, this is really a "hidden gem" because it hides right in the middle of the busy street (Vernon Boulevard). It's hard to find the place because the Tuk Tuk sign... The food is generally good (not great). The service runs the gamut from excellent to "Hey, I'm still here! Am I going to get my food anytime soon?"

I've been to many Thai restaurants in NYC and this is by far the best Thai food. You must order the Curry Puffs. They're light and flavorful. The perfect amount of curry spice. I always order Pad Thai to measure the capability of the restaurant since that is a standard, traditional dish. Tuk Tuk makes it delicious. It is not... More

We got the number 7 subway to the restaurant-not sure which stop tho-possibly Jackson Boulevard, it was about a 90 second walk from the stop, couldn't have been easier to get to. I had a salmon and shrimp 'nam ya' dish which was amazing-quite spicy though! My husband had pad see ew, again this was great. The restaurant itself is... More

We ate here after a loooong walking day in the crowled New York ! The staff is perfect, polite and so nice. The food is very good and it's a good value for money, it's a bit spicy but it's thai food so we were not surprised :) Do not hesitate to go there !

Everything here is so good. The wonton soup is full of wontons, chicken and a delicious broth. The potstickers are crunchy on the outside and warm on the inside. Delicious. This time we tried the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. What a mellow flavor. Their dishes are not swimming in soy which lets all the flavored come out. Service is... More

Great Thai place in the heart of LIC. You must try the spicy duck and the grilled squid! Yummy! Prices are very reasonable but bear in mind it gets really crowded so get there early!

Love the takeout from here. Pretty standard Thai, but it's reasonably priced and they're always quick.
