My friend lives in LIC and when I visit her (and her family) we always indulge our culinary senses with dishes from Tuk Tuk. My very favorite dish is Tom Ka Gai (coconut milk soup with chicken), which is so authentic I felt as if I was back in Thailand. It is hands down the best Thai I have eaten... More

I love so many places here in LIC, but Tuk Tuk is my favorite! The flavors are so fresh, and the food is never oily and never seems to be sitting around waiting for a home...The staff is lovely and the prices can't be beat, and note, when a dish is marked as spicy, it is actually spicy.

As one of few restaurants on the easily accessible Vernon Blvd. Tuk Tuk enjoys excellent location and a fairly decent menu. With the dearth of dining choices in the area (most places are catered to the brunch crowd) Tuk Tuk has a strong hold on the South-East Asian cuisine lovers of Long Island City. But this stronghold is attributed more... More

... but you can take a subway, or walk, there! Long Island City is close enough to Manhattan to pop on the 7 train, just one stop into Queens, and satisfy your Siamese cravings. I happen to be a duck fanatic, so I'm usually inclined to "test" the menu with a duck dish. I deferred from the more usual Tamarind... More

Whenever I want to fulfill my craving for Thai food I go to Tuk Tuk in LIC. I live about 10 minutes so I go out of my toe at here. My favorite dishes are the golden purse, pad Thai noodles, beef massaman curry, chicken skewers, and wonton lover soup. Their dishes are fragrant and tasty. Prices of their dishes... More

Visited this with my wife, granddaughter and her fiancée since they had eaten there before and it was conveniently located to their new apartment in LI City. Service was good and food was typical Thai with the Pad Thai and lots of vegetable and meat with vegetable dishes in sauces from mild to very hot and spicy. We had several... More

Except for the welcoming environment and for a convenient location on Vernon Blvd., there is nothing outstanding about Tuk Tuk. Most annoying, most of the food is pre-cooked and I question the freshness of ingredients.

We’ve ordered from Tuk Tuk before but never really visited the place for formal dining. And I firmly believe, that one tend to get a different dining experience when the food is delivered compared to when you actually sit and dine in. With that in mind, in the couple of occasions that we ordered from Tuk Tuk, we simply thought... More

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The food fresh and unpretentious. A win, win situation if you are looking for good food in a relaxed atmosphere. Good value too!

I am not a huge Thai food lover. But I LOVE Tuk Tuk. The coconut milk chicken soup is stupendous. I like to follow it up with the Pad Sai Yew (sp?), which is so packed with flavor it should be illegal.
