I saw favorable reviews and decided to try this neighborhood restaurant. The service was slow, and a salad was delivered very late as if the order was forgotten. After a weary hot day in the city, we stopped here for pizza and a cold drink. We shared the meditteranean pizza, which was the best pizza I have ever had!! From fresh mozzarella, to sun dried tomatoes, pesto, peppers and artichokes, this pizza was terriffic!! Put a cold beer with that, and it can't be beat!!

Alba's is my favorite pizza joint in the neighborhood. Although it is not a fancy place, the food is really good, and simple. I also really enjoy their chicken parm.

We visit family in Astoria and Alba's is always one of our first stops. The pizza is exceptional and the meals are delicious. Service is always prompt. Looking forward to another visit.

My wife and I recently visited our son, who lives in Astoria. The first night there, he took us to Alba's Pizza for our evening meal. I loved the bread- it was warm and soft on the inside, and crispy on the outside. The pepperoni and sausage pizza was good too- we ordered a "small" because our waiter said it... More
