Great location, great service, great food

It's location intersects the expressway coming off the Triboro bridge and subway lines N and Q at Astoria. This makes it a good place for meeting up with folks driving and in the city. Great food good service.

This is an old fashioned diner that you would see in the 60's. The diner was voted in the past "Best diner in New York". The diner is convenient to Laguardia Airport, Mets Stadium and other tourist locations in Queens. The location is at the foot of the Triborough "Robert Kennedy" Bridge which connects Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx. There... More

The Neptune Diner is a neighborhood staple. I discovered it when I moved into the neighborhood 17+ years ago. It is consistently good. The staff are tenured and have service down to a science. The busboys are on top of pouring coffee during breakfast, the wait staff are good at their jobs and really hustle when it's busy. The folks... More

I've been going to the Neptune for years. My favorite fare is Chicken Limonato and Rice Pudding with Whipped Cream! It's very comfortable. No one rushes you. The wait staff is attentive, friendly. I've brought people from out-of-town who love fish here to eat and they have been very pleased and amazed at the reasonable prices. Try it!!

Quintessential New York diner! Fast, friendly service, huge portions, and a menu with tons of variety. The avgolemono soup and spanakopita were spot on. I would definitely return!

Neptune diner is a safe, reliable place for food at all hours of the day. Growing up in Astoria, Neptune was the place to go for a great diner fix. Fridays and Saturdays were typical days of my visit for their great soups. Since moving to upper Manhattan, I only come here when I visit my mother. My favorites have... More

For some reason I prefer this diner over others nearby. No clue why, perhaps because this was the first place I ate after staying up all night painting our new apartment? Anyway, their breakfasts are consistently good and you're never left wanting for coffee (they're quick to refill). I like their home fries better than other diners around. Great for... More

We were staying in an apartment in Queens for a week and Neptune Diner was just around the corner, so we visited it a couple of times. Once we all had burgers and the second time I had a fish dish whilst my companions had various snacky things. The service was reasonable, without being especially friendly. The food wasn't bad,... I've been here on two occasions and loved it both times. Waiters are very accommodating, prices are very reasonable and portions are huge. Their Greek selections and seafood dishes are fantastic! They always have a nice variety of daily specials and their burgers which are cooked to order are a nice size. Too many fries for one person! My friend... More

A diner with diner food. Coffee is tastey but coffee cups are very small. You have to get three refils in order to have a 'good cup of coffee' If you are a vegiterian dont order eggs, They are cooked on the same grill as the bacon and you can definitely taste the bacon!
