I didn't even get there. I booked thanksgiving dinner here for a birthday treat whilst planning my trip to New York - the reservation was confirmed. However, the evening before I received an email notifying me that the reservation had been cancelled. I received no explanation at all regarding the reason why. Can't comment on the food at all, but... More

The Best in fine dining right on the water. The food and service were excellent. My friend was actually able to pick me up after words from their dock on the East river. Very cool indeed

Classy restaurant in an up and coming industrial neighborhood in Long Island City. The service was good as was the food. The view of Manhattan and the southern tip of Roosevelt Island was spectacular (ignoring nearby construction equipment). Was it worth $85 for a glass of wine, two bowls of soup and a single salmon entree?

We had date night here. And while we used a Amazon Coupon, it still turned out to be a bit pricey. But the view was absolutely breathtaking. The view is what made me give this restaurant 3 stars. If there were stars for just good. They would get that. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The Food was so so.... More

One year and a half ago we celebrated our son's marriage party at this place. 10 days ago we ordered a table at that restaurant , on the first floor, and had a very bad experience. After a week we red an article that explained the reason to that experience, about owner problems, refrigerators not functioning and many other problems.

I am a native NY'er and have had the pleasure of dining at Water's Edge a number of times. This is a true first-class dining experience. The view of Manhattan is one of the best you can get. If you are visiting our fabulous city -- this restaurant should be on your "must try" list. They offer both indoor and... More

This was my second dinner at The Water's Edge. We could not wait to get back since my our trip earlier this year was wonderful but our second trip was a disappointment. I went with a party of four. Three of us were given menus with a different price than the fourth menu. The waiter did not know why the prices... More

First a warning....we took a cab to and from from the Millennium in time square & the taxi was $35 each way although it is only 6 miles away. So worth it!!! We had an incredible night. We got there an hour early and we're still sat immediately, well, almost immediately. We were wearing jeans (nice jeans) & nice tops... More

We were told a table for 11 is not possible for outdoor deck so settle indoor, I am unsure what the valid reason is but have been to similar dining venues in some continents and did not think such request is impossible. Menus have different pricing and meal options from one to another, never seen that either and when questioned... More
