IN LOVE!

I'm in love with Manetta's Ristorante. My husband and I have been 'customers' of this restaurant since 1988. We lived just 8 minutes from Manetta and it was hard not to eat there every evening. In fact, when I came home from work the subway stop was right next to the restaurant, and the... read more

Were heading to Long Island City (not familiar with the area) and just looked at reviews to find someplace good. We figured this would be a safe, good restaurant (reviews called it a neighborhood favorite, which to me, usually means comfortable and good). It was way better. It was really excellent. Great food, great service, inexpensive, good wine (and yes,... More

Local cozy down home place, filled with regulars. They do honor reservations, have a full bar and even Gluten free Pizza. The portions and prices are reasonable and the staff is mostly attentive. In the warm weather there are some outside tables, although they are on a major street with no scenic views!

We had a nice dinner on a Monday night. The service was outstanding, plenty of food cooked very well. Very authentic. If you're looking for a good meal in Long Island City, you should try this place.

We had an afternoon to ourselves so, on a recommendation from a friend, we headed over to Manetta's. Upon arrival we were given menus and asked what we'd like for drinks. Bread was served. Gorgeous, crusty but soft, herb crusted bread. We decided to eat several courses, but share. So we had portobello mushroom salad and house salad to start,... More

We've been coming to Manetta's for many years, before its expansion, when it was a tiny place in a practically deserted neighborhood. Now, it's been discovered, and the neighborhood is filled with new high-rise buildings. The quality of the food has not changed one bit. We periodically try thin-crust pizza made in wood-burning ovens around the city, and no other... More

We live around the corner from this place for 3 years and finally went for dinner, I wished we would not have waited so long! The food is amazing, the stuffed mushrooms appetizer was the best stuffed mushrooms I have ever had, the past is all hand made and you can tell! Can't wait to go back with more friends!

This restaurant is an old fashioned place with food that has a distinctive flair. Service is excellent, and the pizzas are exceptional. Today we had the Margherita--which is always the measure of good pizza, and a pie that they call the Mona Lisa, with arugula, truffle oil and delicious parmesan curls. The crust is thin and tasty, with excellent "chew".... More
