To many New Yorkers and visitors to the city, the notion of dining in Queens as long been as anathema as a Metallica concert is to a Grateful Dead aficionado. No more. Queens is a hotbed of good food and, thankfully, one old favorite, so close to midtown you could almost walk, still makes you wonder why you ever hesitated... More

Nice, petite, French bistro on a busy street in LIC (trucks rumbling by interrupted conversation, but this IS busy, busy Long Island City!). Decent amount of parking nearby. Painted, pressed-tin ceiling, black-and-white photos on the walls, the ever-present expresso machine, small tables, unusually large portions (atypically French, mais non?), all-French staff, and great tasting food. Great post-Mother's Day gift for... More

An easy subway ride from Times Square. Take the circle 7 train to Queens, get off at the first stop and you're there! Endive salad with blue cheese, pears and walnuts is to die for! An entree of Pan Seared Skate L'Arribiata with Pomme Anna was top notch! The waiter's recommendation of the Le Colombier Domaine 2012 was spot on.... More

We had dinner here on a Friday night. The restaurant was full and the staff seemed overworked and frazzled. It took 15 minutes after we ordered wine for the drinks to arrive. Two in our party ordered the last two servings of one of the daily specials. About a minute before our dishes arrived we were told that one of... More

We stopped by this restaurant when visiting our son in Long Island City. We were pleasantly surprised as some of the previous reviews were not so nice. Very reasonable prices and the French staff were very nice and friendly. We stopped by for brunch and my Quiche Lorraine was really good! My husband had a proscuitto panini which was also... More

I ordered eggs Benedict which came under cooked on a raw English muffin. The head waiter was rude. I will probably try the restaurant again and order something else.
