But very small portions. Still, it's worth it. Even though I don't like the ambiance with very low ceiling and bad acoustics, I would still recommend the place.

We've been meaning to try this restaurant ever since reading the NY Times review a few months back. We came on a Sunday afternoon, and they were serving their brunch menu. This was not the standard eggs benedict - pancakes - omelets menu; rather, full of interesting Mexican dishes. I had the pozole, a dish not often found in NY... More

Ate at casa Enrique last night. Braised lamb shank was KILLER!! Dinner guests raved on skirt steak. Quaint atmosphier and great drink selection. Highly recommend a visit for LIC visit.

The overall white of the decor is blinding at first but makes up for the dim candle light later. The bar is very well stocked with many tequila brands. The mojito is fresh, not too sweet and rich in mint. So is the Patron margarita. Very nice and personable bar tender. Now, over to the meal: excellent. Someone in the... More

This place is small and quaint. The service is excellent and the food matches. The chef is very creative and neat. I have eaten here several times and they don't disappoint. Great drinks too.

We were a party of four during a Saturday dinner service. I would say that the atmosphere was casual, but it was more kind of like nobody working there cared. The interior was all white, but it looked dirty because there were no lights on. Sad looking string of stenciled paper tacked onto the wall was the only remotely Mexican... More

Eaten here several times, with both large groups and with only another person. Service always excellent, never rushed unless you specify you're in a hurry. Food is excellent, tried several things on the menu including the best lamb shank ever, delicious enchiladas, chorizo tacos, and fantastic desserts. Fennel ice cream is great, and I adored the goats milk caramel ice... More

Been here twice and both visits have been excellent experiences. Their tacos were amazing! Guacamole is made to order and can be mild, spicy, or spicier - it's super creamy, fresh, and tasty. Brunch with eggs and chorizo was wonderful, we also had the huevos con mole and they were special. All in all, a great find.

We tried this place after loving its' sister restaurant Cafe Henri. A very good Mexican spot, food is full of flavor and the staff is top notch. Small place, fills up quickly, so make a reservation (if they accept them, not sure)

Finally, a Mexican restaurant which serves freshly prepared food which would be hard to find in Mexico City. A simple white interior in a humble building is the perfect setting for good food with good friends. The brunch menu is full of choices - eggs and otherwise. Sensible portion sizes beautifully presented; no sloppy piles of tacos and cream. The... More
