Cozy Italian Restaurant in Long Island City with homemade pasta

Caring, attentive staff, great wines, homemade pasta, cozy atmosphere - what more can you ask for? The homemade Fettuccine with clams and broccoli rabe was so fantastic - I'm still dreaming about it.

I only found this restaurant as I was looking for a convenient middle location to meet someone. What a find! This was, hands down, the best Italian food I have ever had. The people and service were great and the prices were very reasonable. I cannot say enough positively about this restaurant. Go, go, go!

THE BEST ITALIAN restaurant! Hands down! I have been coming here since it opened, and before that would go to her father's place down a few blocks. Amazing food-amazing atmosphere (you always feel like you are in Italy), and Gianna (owner and chef) is a beautiful soul! DEFINITELY check this place out!

I have been there twice for dinner. I like the food, and pizza is good. But both times the time to get served was way too long, the first time the pizza I think was never ordered, and I had to take it to go after waiting well over an hour. The décor is nice and dessert options tasty, had... More

The atmosphere is homey but with elegant touches--starched white table cloths and napkins old school waiters--the food was delicious -not exciting or adventuresome-but very well done classic southern Italian--the sausages and cheeses were excellent--some of the pastas are home made --these are best obviously-- be sure to try the octopus and the pizzas . One complaint is the wine list--in... More

my wife and I spent six days in New York and had three dinners at Manducatis Rustica because the service was excellent, the food consistently first rate, and the atmosphere authentic. As well, the prices were much less than any other comparable place we dined in the Big Apple. All the main courses were delicious and the homemade tiramisu was... More

I stopped into Manducatis for lunch with some co-workers. When we arrived, they weren't exactly open yet, but they seated us anyhow and took great care of us. The interior of the restaurant is quite large, much bigger than it appears from the outside. It is cozy and quiet, with many different dining rooms. Service was prompt, though not exactly... More

Manducatis Rustica is a fantastic restaurant in every way, really high quality food, like home cooking, warm and friendly atmosphere, variety of choices from pizza to pasta to great fish, impressive wine selection and appetizer dishes, gelatos, great desserts you name it. I really can not praise it enough. We live in Astoria and have been going to Rustica for... More
