Amasing steak and sheppard's pie. Traditional american bar in not popular place of Long Island. Nice music.
I think the food here is really good. They make great sandwiches (actually just about anything on the menu is good) and I like the Cubano in particular. It's also nice that they actually make their own fresh french fries i.e. it's not ready-to-fry stuff you can pick up at the supermarket. They've got a decent draught beer and liquor... More
Neighborhood Pub with a good Irish vibe. The staff was nice. Waitress a little chatty but all an all we were pleased with it. Not much else around and you may thank the walk to it was sketchy but it is worth it.
We visited this pub while visiting the NY area. It's just a neighborhood pub, but surprised us with a lively packed bar and amazing food! The service was excellent and we immediately felt welcome! We will definitely return when back in the area!
Stayed at a nearby hotel. No bar there but they recommend this place for a quick drink and food. The bartender(she was great) made me feel like a regular! Typical pub food. Bar, service and Atmosphere outstanding! Creepy area tho. Across from a large cemintary
I attended a private party in their back room. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious!! Definitely a diamond in the rough of an area.
This place is worth a side trip if you're in Queens or Brooklyn or Manhattan. It's an unassuming bar/pub, with surprisingly good food. Was just looking for a place to eat and drink and see a hockey game on cable near our Fairfield hotel. This is about the only such place, and it was fine.
At the receptionist's recommendation, we walked over from our hotel for lunch. I wasn't impressed by the outside of the restaurant, or, at first, the decor inside, but the food was excellent! Freshly made, from scratch, by someone who knows how to cook. Had we stayed longer, we would have gone back for a dinner.
Loved the food and atmosphere. Very much like the pubs we visited in Ireland. The burger was cooked perfectly and the mac-n-cheese was the best I've ever had.
