Went to The Brass Rail for Sunday brunch- it turned out they had a nice fixed price menu available as well as the usual brunch one (as it was nearing the end of "restaurant week.") This would definitely have been a five star rating, but they were apparently short staffed during our visit and thus the service was slow! The... More

This is a noisy, busy restaurant. The food is very good and the wait staff excellent. There is very good beer on tap. I wish there were more restaurants on Long Island that have beer on tap. The onion soup was very good and my husbands burger was on of the best that he has ever had. We tried our... More

We have visited both in the spring and again this past weekend for dinner. Back room is cozy; front space can get crowded because of bar. Restaurant / pub does not disappoint from drinks to its diverse continental menu selection from appetizers through dessert. We both had the hanger steak ; we had different appetizers served with homemade bread (... More

We had heard about this restaurant for quite some time, and we were not disappointed. Everything was wonderful, from the decor, service ,drinks and especially the food. The small plate menu was amazing. We ended up ordering too much but enjoyed everything Wish more restaurants offered this option You get to sample things you never order , though the portions are... This location has had many iterations; The Brass Rail has been there for several years now and remains very good. Service, food and location are all including in the very good rating. Parking can sometimes be challenging but if you're willing to walk about 1 block, there is plenty of parking in one of the nearby lots.

We always enjoy eating at the Brass Rail when we are able to get a reservation. The service is always very good and we are seated on time. The food is excellent! I usually get two small plates which is plenty of food. We have always enjoyed the food.

The Brass Rail, is truly fine dining, even at the bar you be served some of the finest dished around! Though a little pricier than some other places in the area, it is worth it!

Really nice local spot with a nice atmosphere, good food and good service. This was our first visit to The Brass Rail and I'm pretty sure we will be back in the near future.

An excellent meal with attentive staff . The small plate menu is extraordinarily delicious and I would highly recommned it...whether you decide to sit at the bar or table. The fried Oysters were quite remarkable. Again the staff was extremely attentive and the restaurant allowed you to bring your own wine for a very nominal $20 corkage fee. As a... More

Food is amazing...service not so much. A little too pricey for what you get. They should scale back on the prices a bit. There small plates are fun. It is definitely worth trying, however a reservation is required. I have walked in there at 5pm and it was empty and they still wouldn't seat me!
