Small homey place in town. Friendly staff makes your meal even more enjoyable. Had breakfast ans lunch there. Nothing fancy just good ole American food. We went near closing but they still took the time to get us seated and serve us a nice meal. Have teen sons, they loved it.

This was an interesting place recommended by a local. Our server was pleasant but we were told we had to sit in the front as the back was closed so we couldn't look out at the view of the canal. Even though it was lunch time, we ordered breakfast food and it was tasty. We'd go back.

Tom's Diner is a decent place to visit for breakfast or lunch. It serves standard American breakfast and lunch fare at reasonable prices. Going there is like taking some steps back into time as it is typical of a bygone era. Nothing to write home about, but certainly OK.

This is a diner in every sense of the word. You seat yourself, grab a menu and enjoy the delicious food. Our waitress knew we were trying to catch a tour and rushed our order. She was fantastic!! Country style food - large portions and very hearty. This is were you want to feed big teenage boys with bottomless stomachs.... More

From the moment my party entered we felt unwelcome, the manager told our server to seat us in the back (by the bathrooms), not one employee smiled or greeted us, the server was rude... they made sure we knew "our kind" wasn't welcome, just not in so many words... When another party entered the sever treated the assisstance-dog they had... More

Wherever I travel, I try to find a local diner for breakfast. Tom's fits the bill. The customers are mostly local residents. Service is quick and friendly. The meal portions are reasonable and the prices are normal for a local diner. Thursday mornings, the left side of the restaurant is fully occupied by a Toastmasters group, so you may want... More

This diner was super cute & everyone was friendly. We sat by the window overlooking the Lockport locks & it was so cool. We got to see a boat go through the locks & it was just a fun experience. I ordered a lunch entree while my mom & grandma ordered breakfast. Next time I will order breakfast. Their meals... More
