reliably good food

We have had both lunch and dinner here many times. The food is reasonably priced, and always tasty. It's great to have a place with good barbeque that never disappoints!

We did dinner in here this week, and had some pretty good BBQ (again!). I had the salmon entrée, which I thought was very tasty although not quite as tender as I had expect. (Perhaps it was dry-rubbed.) I also love their bakes beans, which have superb flavor and even some meat cooked right in. Don't forget to try the... More

When business brings me to the North Syracuse I always stop at Smokey Bones. Jess and Amanda are hot bartenders but also very friendly. The food is very good and the beer is very cold.

We went to Smokey Bones on Tuesday night. The place has nice décor and is very comfortable. The waitress was very nice and outgoing. I got the St Louis Ribs with Broccoli and Dirty Rice. The ribs were ok a little dry but ok. The Broccoli was a train wreck. It was mush and had a ton of butter and... More

We tend to end up here when eating out late night. Always great service even at midnight. Some of the food options aren't always available but that's completely understandable at that time of night!

Smokey Bones has an extensive menu but I always seem to gravitate to my favorite - the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Although I think they have "down-sized" the portion - it is still plenty of food for me and it really is very good. Their coleslaw is creamy and delicious. My date had the Cuban Sandwich - which has become his... More

This was our second time in a few months at Smokey Bones. We had consistent food and service. The loaded nachos are amazing. The smoked wings are my husband's favorite (love the pick 3). The mashed and gravy is homemade and the nutty salad is excellent. Will keep coming back. Attentive waitstaff made the experience A++

Ate with a group of 20 or so attending a conference. We were able to be seated in a private section of the dining area. The service was very good and the food quality was excellent. This was my first-time at a Smokey Bones restaurant but it won't be my last.

Smokey bones has great bbq. We have been there twice now (a little further from home than other restaurants ) but worth the trip! Was much much better the second time around after they added a few other things to the menu!

Since Quaker Steak bit the dust in Baldwinsville for all you can eat wings these guys do it on Monday night's starting at 9pm. No plastic chairs here or parking problems like The Lube though! Beers are substantial for even the seasoned veteran. Staff is fantastic and there is little to no turnover that says a lot about the managers... More
