Great Cafe with a Great Mission

Beautiful coffee house and cafe. Excellent food and coffee. Plus, you can feel good supporting this business as its mission is supporting those with eating disorders. Try the Vermont Melt. AMAZING!

The café was opened to support Ophelia's Place, a nonprofit organization for eating disorder. The décor has changed to more modern industrial look. Really cute, chic place to meet friends or get coffee and read your book. Free WIFI too. It is located kiddy corner to Liverpool public library. You want a healthier choice for your breakfast or lunch, you... More

Had a delicious breakfast bowl-with fresh spinach…perfectly cooked egg…and delicious fresh home fries. The menu said onions-peppers and salsa…but that was not in either my husbands dish or mine. I told the very nice lady at the counter who thought the menu perhaps didn't reflect the recipe change that was made.....but she made an adjustment that "made it right" for... More

Visited here with a friend whilst on a trip to Syracuse. Loved the ambience and decor, and great philosophy behind the business. Generous cup sizes, good bakery items for sale. Also, no fuss free wifi. Loved it, and would come back again.

i have ordered the Vermont Melt several times ($9), its very good. very fresh. the sandwiches also come with a small salad. there is a fireplace which makes it very cozy. they could run it more often in my opinion (but then again i am always chilly.. a fireplace is a huge draw for me!!) they have tables, a couch... Cafe 407 has become my go-to meeting place whenever I need a centrally located coffeeshop / restaurant. The coffee is good, the service is attentive and the food that I've had (baked goods, no sandwiches) are fine. The fact that this supports the work of Ophelia's Place, which helps those who deal with eating disorders, is an added plus. The... More

I ordered a butternut squash tartine; maple roasted butternut squash, spinach, garlic cream cheese, brown sugar browned butter, and I can't remember the other flavoring, on an onion rye bread. Wow. Accompanied by an herbal tea and a linzer cookie. Very reasonable prices, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. When they first opened the cafe, I was very fond of the salad,... More

I visited after a colleague told me what a great space it was. I was even more impressed when I realized that the cafe supports a not-for-profit organization that supports family members and individuals suffering from eating disorders. It is simply and beautifully decorated and had a rustic yet contemporary vibe. The food is amazing and very reasonable. I had... More

Recently redone inside so it's a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Sandwiches and salads are nicely prepared with a creative touch. Portion sizes are reasonable - not those huge plates that are enough for a family. Worth a stop to try!
