Great place to get dim sum without having to go to overcrowded Flushing or even further away in Manhattan. If you go early enough, you will avoid the crowd that inevitably arrives - had a good selection of food choices and what wasn't on a traveling cart was obtained from the kitchen by simply asking. Will definitely go back again.

My wife and I just had Dim Sum here , and enjoyed it again. It was our third time , and the food was very good - all the various dumplings were very good , as was the congee and the sweets that we sampled and took home for later . Contrary to some recent reviews , the service was... More

Chinese food in Chinatown's Manhattan is awesome becaus it's good, fast, cheap, and no MSG most of the time. Northern Manor is the same without having to go into Manhattan. They have a huge parking lot that's FREE and a Chinese supermarket next door. It doesn't get better than that.

Very authentic and tasty. They even have dim sum but arrive early on the weekends as it pretty busy and the wait is long.

All of the food is great for dim sum! It gets REALLY crowded on the weekends, so make sure you get there before 12. Parking can be very difficult. The tiny lot out back is always full, don't even bother, just park on the street.

We've been to this restaurant several times by now; each and every time the food was very good to excellent. As others have said, service leaves something to be desired, especially on weekends, but generally it's' OK. Reminder to those who don't read - this is a Cantonese, not Szechuan, restaurant so don't expect fireworks in your mouth (fortunately for... More

My husband and I went for dinner there tonight even though our tastes run more to spicier styles of Chinese food. The restaurant is clean and well lit but the good parts end there. The food is run of the mill, mild Cantonese style. It wasn't to our tastes but it was well prepared (i.e. cooked properly, served hot etc.)... More

Went there on a Saturday late afternoon..... Restaurant had 3 couples. They did get us a high chair quickly with the menus and a pot of tea.....THAT was all we GOT. I feed the baby thinking any minute they would come over to get our order. THIS NEVER HAPPENED.....We were in the restaurant over 30 minutes with a toddler. A... More

If you want consistently great ribs, and don't want to travel to Manhattan or the south, then this is the place to go. We have been here many times and they never fail to deliver. The service is fine, but the wait on weekends tends to be long sometimes. i guess that is what you have to put up with... More
