good breakfast reasonably priced. Four of us had essentially the same thing Eggs and bacon, or sausage, coffee and a small juice with hash browns and a choice of toasts. The service and food were good and the prices reasonable under thirty dollars excluding tip. In New York it would be twice as much and not as good.

We went for breakfast - that's what diners are for! Food was good, service was with a smile. In the corner there was a group of local townies, out for companionship and to check on the news. In the next room there was a working meeting going on - if locals go you know it's pretty good. I highly recommend... More

Lots of selection, huge menu. Did not like cleanliness of the bathroom and parking is kind of tight sometimes. Also service took a while.

Enjoyed Southern Eggs Benedict, although gravy was not home-made. Veggie omelet was decent but not a lot of flavor. One of us liked home fries, the other didn't. Everything could have used some salt & pepper. ( Hint to Cook. )

This Diner has been around for many years a favorite by most. My mom and I went to eat there, so that we didn't go shopping hungry. I don't frequent here often but this last time I was disappointed. I ordered the special off the board when coming in the front door. The Sluvloki , which is a greek eggplant,... More

Not your everyday street side diner! Liberty Diner is the only operating relic of the Borst Belt in town - you can feel the nostalgia of a Sullivan County that once was as soon as you walk in. Owner, Nick, is very friendly and takes extra special care of his regulars. The cheesecake is like none on this Earth!!! ORDER... More

The food here is good..nice selection...but what I love is the service! The waitress remembered my order better than I did. As we were going out the door..she came to me with the jacket I forgot! Took good care of me!

I stayed in Liberty during a family medical emergency. Not one for diners as a rule, I went here because it was very close by the Days Inn, and offered a 10 percent discount to people staying there. There aren't many choices in Liberty unless you like fast food joints, so I wasn't expecting much. BUT was I blown away... More

It actually pains me to give the Liberty Diner a poor review because we did use to love going there. However, lately (prior 2 years) the quality of the dishes has changed (negatively) and unfortunately the prices have skyrocketed! For this reason we no longer dine there. We used to never be disappointed, but we have had too many visits... More
