This was one of the better eateries around. It was run by a mom and her 2 daughters. Really good food. Mom made the BEST desserts. Donna, Penny and Mom all retired at the same time. The restaurant is for sale though.

This family-owned restaurant closed this past week. It was all home-cooked by the 82-year old matriarch and she was just plain tired after 20+ years! The food was delish and the desserts were to-die for. What a shame!

We arrived expecting a home cooked meal at a family restaurant. I had slices of ham, some of them were warm, some not, mashed potatoes ... From a box with gravy the applesauce was great though. Also good was the honey butter served with the dinner roles. It looks like they specialize in desserts but not being desert eaters we... More

If you are looking for a simple place to get a bite to eat Koch's will fit the bill. Food is good, service is good and super friendly. Sort of like an old fashion diner. I don't drink but the wine was not so great. Maybe a poor choice? Stable place to go.

Found this place by happenstance driving back from Lake George. The special was sausage and peppers over spaghetti --yummy! Also the BKT was served on toasted oat bread--tastey! The bean soup tasted like my Grandmas--hmmmmmmmm The atmosphere gives a time warp 60's vibe-- we loved it!

A local gem. True homemade food even the desserts. Speciall treat was Mae Rose on the keyboards (I think Saturday only). She sings slowly and from the heart. All the classics and many more. The service by Barbara was personable and caring and everyone had a happy face and the food was REAL home cooking

We stopped into Koch's because the outside looked clean and inviting. The staff was pleasant, the service was good, and the sandwiches we ordered were tasty. On a whim, I ordered dessert - a blueberry-apple-pear crisp with coconut, topped with vanilla ice cream. It was amazing! If you go there, try it. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone, and we'd... This was my first visit to Koch's and I will go back. Much better than a diner and fast food. There is nothing fancy about this place but that is what I like. They have very good food, the wait staff is friendly, the place is clean and the prices are excellent. I can't believe I never knew about Koch's... More

We ate here for dinner and breakfast while on vacation. There are 4 generations of family running the resturant and everything is home made. Lots of locals here and I would recommend eating here with hesitation. Breakfast is only served on weekends.

After 2 nights of trying to get in (those close very early) we were excited to finally get to try the place. The food and service did not disappoint. They have this excellent butter mixed with honey that would pretty much taste great on anything & everything! The portions were exceptional for the $ and service was outstanding. Koch’s serves...
