Lots of choices

Diner was recommended by hotel desk and they didn't mislead. Good soup, really fresh salad, meat and shrimp cooked to perfection. Typical overcooked vegetables the only low point.

I had a variety of food because we ate there almost every day for a week. The meatloaf and hamburgers were great. I also had the French toast made with challah bread, it was excellent !! Others in my group had salads and sandwiches, no one had any complaints about the food

We've passed this diner a few times over the years and earlier this week we stopped in for breakfast while my wife's car was being serviced across the street (at Keeler Honda--where, btw, the service was fabulous). What a wonderful surprise! Now I love diners and have eaten in many of the very best over the years in NYC, Long... More

The 3 of us went here on Easter Sunday around 11:30am. The diner was busy but not that busy. There were several empty tables. We were seated by a not overly friendly young man. Our server was an older woman who told another table that she had worked there for 30 years. Couldn't even crack a smile to take our... More

WIth a surprisingly varied menu of classic American favorites, Italian standards, and a number of Greek specialties, everyone is sure to find something they will like. Portions are huge, and an entree could easily be split by two normal people. For example, the turkey dinner comes with a nice cup of home made soup (choice from 3 options) a very... More

So being in the construction field, we're always looking for a good egg sandwich. The Latham/Colonie area is pretty weak in this category. So five of us decide to try this place for egg sandwiches to go. I had a sausage egg and cheese, and the four others were meat lovers.....bacon, ham, and sausage. Now the sandwiches were delicious. Cooked... More

We stopped at this landmark diner that has been in this location for years on Route 7 in Latham, NY late in the day on the day after Christmas. We were tired after a long day of fighting shoppers and traffic, very hungry just hoping for quick service and the reliability of "diner food". We arrived with low expectations of... More

My dear, lifetime friend and I enjoyed breakfast here before we went our separate ways back home to Vermont and New Jersey. The restaurant parking lot was full of local cars which is usually a great sign! My friend ordered hash and eggs with home fry potatoes and I had the eggs benedict. She had asked for ketchup when the... More

We have breakfast in this diner during the summer every few weeks for a relaxing and delicious start to a day of gardening. Service is pleasant and quick; food is always good, and the price is always right. There is always a moderate crowd, so we aren't the only ones who know this is a good spot. Try it and... More
