We had a fish fry, french fries and diet soda. The food was fresh, plentiful and the price was very reasonable. We plan to return.

Ted's, at their various locations in the Capital District, has evolved into the best fish fry places around. They now sell mini hotdogs with meat sauce that are vey good, too. Service is quick, too. Just don't order the fried clams......they are terrible!

In Latham for business and a local told us to try Ted's for a good take out meal. They were exactly right. The lunch special was a great value for the price. The fish was perfect and the special "chili" was a great alternative to Tarter. Don't expect anything fancy here...but the staff was friendly and quick. There was a... More

Outstanding, perfectly fried, big old fish fry. I've tried Bob & Rons and all the local restaurant. This is by far the best. Tartar is good but the chili is awesome!

They do it right. Really nice and competent staff. Nice plump shrimp and clams, great prices, and so fast, it will make your head swim.

Ted's on Wolf Road in Albany offers a $5.00 fish fry that has no rivals in the area. Usually haddock, ( but never SWAI or any other funky fish) is a great value & taste in the Capital District. Onion Rings & fries are not bad either. If you must wander off the diet, Ted's is a good place to... More

I love a good fish fry and Ted's is well known in this area so we tried it this week. People have told me how great it is. Well, there are a couple good things to say: the staff is friendly and fast. It is easy to find on a main rd. Some not so good things: it is over... More

Ted's has been around for so long I can remember going here as a kid. Their food has always been very good, but their prices have gone up so much, it is getting to costly to bring my family there anymore.
