We have to Sake's several times now...with other couples each time. We have sat at the hibachi tables and we've also just had a regular table in the restaurant. Each time the food has been fantastic. A lot of different choices on the hibachi menu with large portions. We have taken doggie begs home each time. The atmosphere is very... More

Went back twice during stay. Food was good but not great but the bartender was a really pleasant guy that was fun to talk to. he bragged on his 5 children. If in the area for sure will go back for a glass of wine and a little small talk

Twenty of us went there for a friends birthday, Hibachi style. I gotta tell ya, it was one of the best dinner outings I have gone on in awhile. Most of us get together on the regular for dinner and this was the best. I ordered the Steak n Scallops. The rice, noodles and vegies were very good. Not salty... More

This was my 1st ever dining experience at Sake based on my wife's suggestion that we go there on Saturday night. I was pleasantly surprised by the selections and great taste of everything that we tried. My wife had a Tempura dish and I enjoyed a Thai Mango Prawn dinner, wow what flavor! My wife enjoys getting me to try... More

Great business meal with a group of five. Sake has a great selection of martinis and house drinks to choose from. We had a Caribbean martini, a Sake Scorpion (huge!!) and a pear martini. All of them were excellent and priced around $7 each. For an appetizer we ordered edamame and Beef Negimaki. Excellent choices. For dinner we ordered a... More

There have sprung up in the Capital District a plethora of Japanese Restaurants. Most of them are very average. Occasionally you get lucky, and a friend introduced me to Sake in Latham. To begin with Sake has a large and terrific selection of sashimi, sushi and cooked Japanese food. But, what they also have is a very complete sake list.... More
