You can't go wrong with a meal from Augie's! It's family style dining in a simply decorated atmosphere. We've never had a bad meal and you'll never leave feeling hungry. The pasta is delicious. Food comes out of the kitchen pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend reservations, especially on weekends -- they get very busy and it's not a huge place.... More

Augie's is a restaurant that serves family-style food.... You will never leave this place feeling hungry... They have specials every day except Monday they are closed... You may want to make a reservation on weekends this place tends to be crowded and you will have to wait for a seat... The place is very simple and yet this year is... More

A Saturday dinner visit to this Italian spot took me back 50 years! Enter the restaurant and you're in a wood-panel environment with plastic gingham tablecloths and a traditional bar. There's 60s-era adult-oriented music--Sinatra, etc.--fitting for an Italian restaurant. The pre-recorded music stops when the live accordion player takes over--he's not exactly a virtuoso but again, fits the experience. The... More

It's a good family restaurant to go with kids. The dishes are served family style. You can order 2 dishes for family of five. The food is pretty decent. Ask for sauce on the side if you order the lamb chops. Otherwise, most of the Italian dishes are pretty good. The service is nice and fast. They sometimes have an... More

And then I wonder WHY I keep forgetting to go here. The food was excellent, the drink was perfect (not an easy feat), and although the music was a tad loud, I don't have any complaints (also not an easy feat for me). Clams, chicken parmigiana, veal marsala, chick peas, crusty italian bread - how can you go wrong? We... More

Family style spaghetti joint, nothing surprising or gourmet, but I gotta say - I really love it here. They put way too much garlic in everything and that is just how I like it! And, it is fun to see these massive portions come out. And, wine bottles used as candle holder - that is so old it is new... More

The food was great, the portion were huge, and was fun and loud. A good place to meet up with old friends and talk for hours.

Food was OK, nothing special. Thing is, family-style is one thing - you expect a lot of food, enough for at least two people. It sounds ridiculous to complain that there was too much food, but believe me, there was. The prices are reasonable but entirely too much food. One entree was enough for four or five people, and we... More

I recently went to Augie's for the first time with my family and we all enjoyed the experience. It is a great Italian family style restaurant with reasonable prices. We went on Sunday and got the meatball and sausage pasta special and we thought the sauce was very good. (My father has mentioned the sauce a few times since we... More
