Disappointed

I had good memories of the Wood 'n Spoon. My last visit was disappointing: it is still a very pleasant place, but my burger was simply not good. Pity!

Looks quite dodgy from the outside, but the staff was very friendly and we had a nice view onto the beach. My T-bone steaks wasn't the best, but it was solid one. My girldfriend's baked potatoes were very delicious. We can really recommend it and it's definitely worth a visit if you ever come to that corner of the wild... More

What a tasty meal, served by a lovely host, with a beautiful view of the cows on the beach. We both had fish with chips and salad (one standard fish, and one herb buttered) and it was fantastic. I also had the tomato soup which was really fantastic. Quiet and relaxed, it was a lovely place just to take a... More

Rustic and charming, a short hop from the river on 2nd beach. My wife and I had a wonderful lunch here. Friendly relaxed service and one of the best T-bone steaks I've ever had the pleasure of devouring, chips were superb too. Highly recommend, will definitely try again when we next return.

The service was a bit slow but in a great, relaxed way. The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was very cool... they took a camper and made that into their kitchen. Just a handful of tables outside around the camper make up the entire restaurant. The place is tucked away on a dirt road. Highly recommended!

Simple food, nice wine and a relaxed vibe. If you're expecting fine dining don't even consider it but a fun and funky place for an evening by the beach!

Loved the food and the friendly and helpful owners. Great place to relax, eat and drink. The burgers were especially good and love the so-local feel.
