We ate here based on a recommendation and we're very disappointed. Ordered a Sangria which they obviously did not know how to make. Our waiter seemed to be trying hard but was very inexperienced.

My husband and I enjoyed Milano's. Wish I could remember the names of the dishes we had. Mine was spinach pasta, with veggies and grilled chicken. He had scallops, Milanese risotto and fresh snap peas. Good service, nice place. Would go back.

The restaurant has an open air kitchen and the two cooks need to be quiet! All we heard was swearing and talking about the customers in a negative manor.

In June 2013 we had our first family reunion at Lake Placid and the 6 adults had dinner at Milano North. The food was delicious. In June 2014 we had our second family reunion (24) and we recommend all of us go to Milano North. What a mistake! We had a prefixed menu (understandable for the crowd) The spaghetti had... More

Thats when Milano North would be a good place to have dinner. In all other circumstances, its best to avoid this restaurant. Why you ask me? Let me count the reasons: 1. A highly un-enthusiastic waiter came to take the order 2. Drinks were brought only after repeated asking 3. No bread was served (our first experience in an Italian... More

I am a firm believer that anybody can have a bad day, so this will be my first review, as I have found an Italian restaurant that does not know the difference between linguini and spaghetti. In the same place, a chef that doesn't know the difference between children's portions, small portions, or large portions and a waitress who can... More

We go to Milanos like three times a year while visiting lake placid. This place has very good food however if they are really busy the food tends to not be as good. Meaning they either overcook it, undercook it, etc. They are a bit pricey. The restaurant decor is very nice. The service has always been good. They have... More

First off, we tried to make reservations for 6 pm, but they said they were so busy the best they could do was 5:30. We got there, and the place was only half full. We ordered beers and the fried calamari appetizer, which was good. The warm bread was good. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. Finally our food... More

Just returned from dinner and feel the need to share my experience with all of you. I work at a winery so I feel I'm a little bit picky snout wines, food and food pairing along with attentive service. Please be sure not to overlook dinner at this establishment. I had the salmon special with risotto. It was awesome. Our... More
