Service was...unimpressive.

Went in here on a Friday night with my wife just for desserts. Our server was a young man with absolutely no personality (may be he was put off by the fact that we only wanted desserts?) Either way, we're still the customers. This guy wasn't helpful, spoke under his breath, and the whole time... read more

All the pasta here is homemade. The linguini, the spaghetti, and yes, the rigatoni. Being homemade, it's very thick, combine that with the generous portions they give you and it's quite likely you won't finish the plate, that's why they offer two sizes for many of those dishes. Desert is nothing fancy, the espresso was good, they only have gelato... More

After paying too much for what we received in return at another establishment, Milano was a welcome experience. Location was easily accessed, parking was easy (next to a municipal lot), host was very welcoming, and decor was attractive (but in need of refreshing). Food was actually quite good. Minestrone soup was hot and hearty. Grilled salad was tasty (bit too... More

Poor service fell in line with mediocre meal. The four of us unimpressed. Avoid crab cake appetizer which had almost no crabmeat. Veal picatte was swimming in lemon water. Pizzas were good, as was seafood pasta. Prices dictate a better experience than we had - we won't be back.

We try to eat here at least once or twice every time we visit Lake Placid. The food is always good and when it is snowy and cold outside their soups and risotto is perfect comfort food. They have a great wine list as well. Also the restaurant is very conveniently located above Main Street.

Not impressed. It wasn't totally disgusting but for what we paid I could have made a better dinner in our hotel room. My salad had wilted rotten lettuce bits, wrinkly soft tomatoes and soggy cucumbers. If one is to charge $8.95 for a salad and charge $12.95 extra for a salmon filet, it would be worth it to make sure... More

The best part of the dinner was the atmosphere. Cute place. It must have been an off night for the kitchen. The arugula salad was overly lemon, no gorgonzola cheese as described on the menu, when brought to the attention of our waiter, he said, "Oh, it was there." The brick oven pizza was crispy, but burnt in many places.... More

We had gone here after a long day at whiteface. We had never been to Lake Placid and didn't know what was good. The food was definently great. The service was great and the waiter answered the questions we had.

Once again my husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Milano North. The restaurant as always is very nicely decorated, especial the log ceiling ornaments! The service was impeccable, prompt and everyone was very polite. My husband order the pork tenderloin and I had the salmon and we were both satiated and not stuffed. We will return again!

Seafood Entrees, homemade pasta and wood fire Pizza-you can't go wrong with any choice. All the ingredients are fresh and the speciality cocktails are delicious. This place has a large wine selection to choose from to pair with your meal. The ambiance is rustic chic with friendly staff from servers to chefs. If you're looking for fresh, homemade Italian cuisine... More
