Good solid breakfast location with bottomless coffee

Good solid breakfast location with bottomless coffee. Quaint indoor, would recommend and try again. Price is a bit high for the portion size. For example, their bagels were good, however, they were on the small size.

We ate here for both breakfast and lunch and neither disappointed. The breakfast hash was incredible and the Adirondack Flapjacks were light and fluffy. We added fruit cup to bring a little healthiness to the meal. For lunch, we had their house-made turkey sandwich and a prosciutto sandwich along with more fruit cup and homemade soup. The meal was awesome.... More

I go here often but it's for the food only. If you get served by the gentleman your good to go...if you get served by the large woman you better not expect any smile or kindness. This lady is not designed by nature for the business she is in and most LP visitors that frequent the place won't disagree. She... More

We found the service friendly and the menu choices very accommodating. But the dining area is a little gross. The tables & chairs SERIOUSLY need a good cleaning. And as another reviewer pointed out, the baskets (which are lined with a fresh piece of waxed paper) are pretty nasty. Also--the value wasn't so great. I'd expect $8 sandwiches to be... More

We stopped at the Saranac Sourdough for lunch one day when we weren't skiing. It is a small, quaint place that specializes in a wide variety of soups, breads, and sandwiches at reasonable prices. Unfortunately they close at 2pm. I wish they would open for dinner! If you stay at the Comfort Inn, the restaurant is right across the street.

Not only was this "bakery" out of just about every kind of bread on a Saturday afternoon, the woman at the counter was extremely rude to just about every customer in person and on the phone. She was arguing with the staff. Our orders came out in wicker baskets that were caked with old food and crumbs. One waiting customer... More

This is an absolute gem just outside of town. All breads are baked fresh daily which leads to excellent and inventive breakfasts every time we're in town. This little place doesn't look like much from the outside, but take a chance; you'll thank me for it!

Asked at counter for suggestions as to what to eat. They said signature dishes were Ruben and Cuban sandwiches. We ordered both, melt in your mouth corned beef; apparently they make their own corned beef. Tasted the Cuban also, well made. Floor could be a bit cleaner, decor dated, space a bit dark, cheesy pictures for sale on wall. Go... More

Enjoyed the sandwiches a lot, the attitude of the waitstaff much less. The place was dingy and could have used a heavy cleaning (floors, walls, ceiling, bath). That being said, the line was out the door for the fresh bread. It totally lived up to the rep in town "best bread in town". Service could have been better. The waitress... More

FRESH Artisan breads & meats! Awesome Sourdough Pancakes! REAL Maple Syrup! Quirky and very Homey decor! Best breakfast in the area... Wish I was wise enough to grab one of their Artisan Sandwiches for the long drive back to Rochester!!!
