We come here every time we stay in Lake Placid. Calamari over antipasto with pesto, fantastic. My husband and I both got the Chicken bacon burger with cheddar and a Bar B Q Chipolte mayo sauce, lip smacking good. It's ironman week, so it was very busy, felt bad for our waitress she was taking care of many patrons.

We enjoyed a wonder meal outside next to the chub river. Our service was great and we all ate burgers that were cooked to perfection. Plus the have UBU beer on tap.

Friends recommended this place and we enjoyed it too. Came for dinner and were seated right away outside. Tried the 'Vincent' from the special drinks menu and it was very tasty. All our meals were very good and generous portions too. Will have to try the pizza next time we go.

Looking for a late lunch we stopped into Lisa G's and enjoyed it very much. While inside looks a little dark and dated but kept up, we decided to enjoy the outside deck instead. The food was quite good and everything was hot and fresh. The service was nice and attentive (thank you Molly). It's nice to see a business... More

We had an excellent meal here. We sat outside on the deck with our two dogs - we checked before hand if they were allowed. This is a nice place for well-behaved pups. Food is excellent!! Salads are green, dressings are tasty, and we even enjoyed homemade ice cream sandwich for dessert. We will be back!!!

Not sure what some people expect, but this a bar not a four star restaurant. Above average bar food some a bit different then the ordinary, but if in town for a few days or more its a great change of pace from the same old same old. Nice variety of beers. We have been there twice, I would definitely... More

While reviewing menus online we found Lisa G's and were intrigued by some of their dishes so we decided to try it on our last night in Lake Placid. It was a Monday night and the place was packed, there was a wait for tables by 6:30. We started out with the wings, which were very tasty. For our entrees... More

When we first got into town and got all settled in we decided to take a little trip and go to Lisa G.'s for a bite to eat. They have a very eclectic menu. The food was very good, most of us had a type of burger. Our waitress was very fun and entertaining. The prices weren't too expensive and... More

True to what it says on its web site, Lisa G's is a place where locals hangout, giving this pub/restaurant a rather warm and laid-back feel. The decor of the restaurant is quite interesting, the vibe lively, the servers warm & friendly. Our server Leanne was prompt & attentive and shared some interesting stories of her own. As far as... We ate here before hiking Cascade and the experience started great- beautiful atmosphere, the dishes coming out looked fantastic. However, the chicken sandwich we ordered wasn't cooked (pink). By the time we could tell our waiter (it was packed and he was busy), we were ready to go. I told him and they didn't hesitate to refund us the meal.... More
