We love our friends from Buffalo - thank you for reviewing our store. Kim's baked goods are always delightful - we try to have a selection of gluten free and vegan baked goods that rival their buttery, gluteny counterparts - try to gluten free apple cake next time. More

After spending the weekends in Lake Placid since November, I wish I discovered this restaurant much sooner than last week. The sandwiches are tasty , fresh and healthy! The prices are very reasonable as well. Today I had the vegan hot and sour soup, I then had buenos Diaz breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious. They are open on Sundays which... More

This is a gem of a place for people with vegetarian or restricted diet needs or tastes. My wife is allergic to gluten and corn, and we were able to order tasty soup and sandwiches. She had a goat cheese, egg, hot sauce, and veggie wrap; I had a tempeh reuben, and we shared some wonderful roasted red pepper and... More

The food is so fresh and delicious. From fresh juice, sandwiches, salads, soups, and chocolate oat cookies, everything we ate was excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We went looking for this place because I have a kid with a gluten sensitivity - though a little hard to find, once you get inside, the place is great. The staff are warm and friendly; the food is excellent; the place is also a grocery for organic food and specialized dietary needs. It's not pretentious at all, rather down... More

The staff was welcoming and accommodating! I got the Johnny Pesto (amazing!) and tried the ginger carrot soup and the vegan/GF banana bread. Everything was delicious. Thanks for a great lunch!

Just had lunch today in the Scape Café with my family. Food was superb, service excellent, and I wish I lived in Lake Placid so I could come more often. As a gluten-free, vegetarian with one gluten-free child and one vegan/gluten-free child, there are not many restaurant options. The sandwiches and smoothies/juices are creative concoctions and the café doesn't charge... More

We've seemed to have a hard time engaging staff in Lake Placid to act as though they are even slightly enjoying the fact they are at work lol and we are friendly people! This place was none the different. Besides staff that don't want to be friendly, the juicing was perfect for us... Fresh and quick and the price was... More

Sorry it has taken so long to respond to your review. After the review I tried to figure out what happened as in general we are known for our fantastic customer service. This seems like a break in our usual quality service and we hope you will give us another try in the future. In the summer(July and August) our... More

Righteous Ruben with marinated and baked tempeh is fantastic! Enjoyed also being able to grab a few necessities from the Green Goddess while we waited.

We frequent the area often and find that Scape's Cafe always has a selection of items for us to choose from because many items can be made vegan. Their food is always fresh, dishes are very creative and presentation is artistically appealing. We have always enjoyed every meal we have ordered. The cafe is on the smaller size (5 tables... More
