I have been to Cake Placid several times and they never fail to delight! The variety is amazing and everything is decorated like a piece of art. Jen's eclairs are the absolute best I have had. i could go on and on. Yes, I drive 10 miles just to go to Cake Placid.

I am a little ashamed to say my son and I make the ten mile (one way) trip just to get some of Jen's cupcakes. The cupcakes are out of this world. The shop is spotless and Jen always has a smile on her face.

We have been to Cakeplacid many times...the cupcakes are tasty tasty tasty. We usually will get a six pack and at a family gathering we will cut them up and everyone gets a taste of all of them. They are hard on the waistline though so be careful not to eat too many...lol!

My 11 year old daughter is also a cupcake lover. When we were in DC she insisted we try Georgetown Cupcake and Baked & Wired. They don't even come close! My daughters love cupcakes and these are especially good, way better than Georgetown Cupcakes, which are supposed to have the best cupcakes in DC. These are not too sweet and the flavors are very diverse. We tried German chocolate, ganache, vanilla, mint-chocolate and carrot cake. They were all moist, full of flavor and looked great. Highly recommended!!!
