It was a cold morning. The dip was in walking distance. The server was friendly. The skillet was yummy and the crab cake Benedict was scrupulous.

We were there this morning and it was excellent. Friendly staff, it was busy but didnt need to wait for a booth. Lots of breakfast options. I had cinnamon and nutmeg french toast and it was delicious. My partner had eggs, homefries, ham and toast. It was all cook perfect. Plus the grapefruit juice was fresh squeezed. Impressed. We love... More

We had breakfast here and it was okay. It was a bit pricey though. Friendly waitstaff. We had to ask to have our coffee warmed up which was sort of strange for a breakfast spot.

This place can be extremely busy so be prepared. Right next to Starbucks so parking is tricky as well, but so is all of downtown placid. Food was good. Traditional and different selections as well.

Six of us stopped in about 9:30 a.m. for breakfast and were seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our first question was if we could get seperate bills and were told that they normally do not split bills for groups of 6 or more but would do it for us anyway, which we appreciated. One of the ladies... Our family of 4 went while on vacation and we enjoyed it so much the first time that we went back again before we it was time to go home. We all tried different dishes and everyone was very happy with their meal. Staff is friendly, quick and courteous. Will definitely go back anytime we are out that way.

We almost didn't go to this restaurant based on a recent review posted but decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. They have a number of GF options including six different Rosti skillets. The coffee is ok; I wouldn't agree that it's the best in Lake Placid as another recent post advertised. The Starbucks shares the same... More

Breakfast was okay, but expensive for what you get. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have fresh brewed iced tea - instead they just had the fountain syrup kind - blech. Also, for a place that appears trendy, they didn't have many gluten free options. The maples sausage was good, the omelette prepared well. We might go here... More

We enjoyed our breakfast here. While the homefries could use a bit of work, the eggs and french toast hit the mark perfectly, and the coffee was the best we had in Lake Placid. This place seems to be one of the main breakfast destinations on Main Street, so we'd suggest arriving early if you want to avoid a wait.
