My wife and I went to Pan Dolce during a recent stay in LP since it was very highly rated. We had a great dining experience. The restaurant was an old Wendy's but it is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The menu was fairly small but ecclectic and imaginative. My wife had a delicious shrimp and past dish, I had... Overall a really nice restaurant! Our waiter was very pleasant and we went on a Friday when there was live music which was really enjoyable. I ordered the rigatoni with masala sauce, very interesting and nice flavours but a bit too sweet to eat the whole plate. A friend got the "foodgasm" pork with fennel - absolutely delicious, however just... More

Yummy spicy pasta with shrimp prefaced by tasty, crisp salad and bread. Server and manager were personable, knowledgeable ... But maybe covering too many tables. Would return to try another of the chef's designs.

Recently we had dinner at Pan Dolce in Lake Placid, NY with friends, and we all found our meals to be superb and the service was excellent. We began with the Fritto Misto and the Napolean for appetizers--simply delightful. For main course I had the Maple Leaf Farms Duck, my husband had the Prime Reserve Pork, and our friend had... More

This place had a real surprise for us. We knew it was a bit pricy, but the surprise was in their special. Plan on spending in the $20's or more but be aware of their specials. We were ready to order a meal costing in the $30's when our waiter informed us that the special that night was Prime Rib... More

We always enjoy the food and wine at Pan Dolce. Their pasta is delicious as are their burgers. The staff is friendly. The booths are large and comfortable. The service can be a bit slow but it is worth the wait.

This restaurant is very modern but welcoming. It is quite elegant but prices were reasonable. Staff were gracious and helpful. The food was excellent and displayed artistically. My summer chicken with sweet corn, fiddle heads and a zesty garlic sauce was excellent, as was my husband's Atlantic salmon. One tiramisu for dessert was sufficient for both of us. The service... Seven of us went for dinner including my wife with gluten allergies. They prepared everything to order and made my wife's dish as requested. Prices are very resonance and you can tell each dish was prepared with care. Flavones were excellent. Recommend the clam chowder , scallops and burgers. A must if you are in Lake Placid.
