Driving through on a road trip and rainy day we looked to Tripadvisor for a good place and we were not disappointed. The restaurant looks newly remodeled and even the bathrooms were elegant and spacious. My trout BLT was fantastic and the onion soup was delicious, too. My boyfriend had a burger and he said it was good although he... More

By far the most talented chief around. Creative, unique, intelligent with his creations and they hit the pallet perfectly every single time. Now that Pan Dolce is closed I will need to find where he is working because his creations are out of this world. I would like to thank Christopher McDermott for his professionalism and amazing food. He, in... More

My wife and I spent two nights at lake placid. When we told the inn keeper that we had plans to go to pan dulce, she said that most of her guests had negative feedback to her. WE both looked at the on line reviews and decided to try it. We called for reservations on a saturday night and were... More

Just had a wonderful meal! It was an all inclusive 4 course meal and was delicious! This was our first time at this restaurant and definitely will not be our last. The manager and wait staff were very attentive. Thanks again!!

The food was awesome. Great service. Terimsuu and cappuccino was the best I have had! It's the best restaurant in lake placid. We tried several restaurants, not nearly as good. Overall experience was great for our last night.

While out leaf peeping in Lake Placid we stopped at the Pan Dolce Restaurant because we had a coupon. The lunch I had was awesome. I had a soup and salad combo. The salad was an awesome Caesar salad but the soup stole the show. It was a very delicious apple bisque. It was so yummy and thick and hot.... More

The positive features were the smoked salmon app and the shrimp and calamari app. My salmon piccata was moist, but the carrots and potatoes were mushy and swimming in the liquid on my plate. My husband had the prime rib special and he said the meat was good, but also did not like the soft vegetables. The other couple that... More

No atmosphere .. Limited menu .. Limited wine list .. Mediocre food ... Chicken parm is supposed to be thinly sliced, instead it was a thick boneless breast .. Guitarist should be playing italian music .. They show pictures of tractors on their tv .. We went because of the positive reviews .. These people must normally eat Italian food... More

I wish I had written this review sooner, when the details were fresher in my mind, but I am writing it today because as I came across their business card, I recall how pleased I was and how I even told the maitre d' they'd be getting a good review from me. The food was delicious. I had scallops prepared... More
