Hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. So much flavor and unique combinations. Pork belly was fabulous, Brussels sprouts Devine and blue cheese pudding with the meatballs are out of this world! Drinks were unique and flavorful as well! Great beer and craft cocktail menu!

Great liquides and amazing solids nothing else to add. We had cod cakes and beef carpaccio both were amazing.

I would highly recommend this eclectic restaurant to those who wish to have an extraordinary culinary experience. First of all, let's talk about the liquids. The cocktails are truly innovative concoctions. I ordered the gin & juice, which is made from Junipero, Becherovka, a Czech herbal liquor, cran molasses juice, and cherry bitters. It was a potent, yet balanced, not... More

I can not stress how great our meal and drinks were BUT if you're planning on meeting people for a couple of drinks here it is NOT a bar (I guess there is a pun intended with the nomenclature of the restaurant's handlebar name). They have a bar area but it is reserved for those who are eating and possibly... More

We check TA for a good restaurant in lake Placid and it did not disappoint. If you're prepared to try new combinations of flavours and/or you like strong cocktails, this is the place for you! We liked it so much the first night we went back the next night. They should export their menus/recipes so that more people can try... More

Just enjoyed a meal here - the best food of our 5 night stay in Lake Placid. If you crave something a little different from the norm, then eat here. Main dishes are small, so we found for two of us eating that one starter, one salad, and two mains was a just right amount. So refreshing to not be... More

I loved the name of this restaurant and then I won a voucher at the ski jumping show so we had to go there. The food and service were amazing! The restaurant itself is relaxed but the food is so inventive, it's like nothing else I've ever had. For my main course I had rhubarb and blue cheese ravioli with... More

I went to 3 of the top restaurants in Canada, Au pied de cochon, Toqué and Européa, average bill 475$ for 2. I had nearly the same pleasure at Liquids and solids for under 100$. These peoples search for taste pairing. They combine ingredients that come together and explode in your mouth. If you're fossy and snob, don't go there,... More

Be prepared to take some time to read the menu of both drinks and food. Each offering is a unique blend of flavors and takes some time to process the combinations. We visited twice when in Lake Placid and were pleased with our choices both times. The chef allowed the freshness and flavors of the ingredients to shine through on... More
