We had a great lunch here on a rather cold, wet summer day. The menu had a good choice of gluten free items and the waitress at our table was very knowledgeable and helpful in this regard. Other staff were not quite as helpful, but this didn't spoil the meal. Prices were reasonable and the food was very good.

The food was pub style and adequate. The wait staff was very confused as to who had our table, which doesn't make one feel very wanted. Either move the pool table out for more tables, or take reservations.

Maggie's is part of the Lake Placid Lodge, which is quite the premiere place. Food is great, however wine is almost too up-charged to enjoy. Being a wine enthusiast, I know what many of the actual cost per bottles were of the wine being served by the glass, and the upcharge was more than would be expected by far. The... More

Had drinks and appetisers one evening while in LP. Bar was crowded yet cozy, service friendly but not super. 2/3 appetisers were most enjoyable (forget the charcuterie plate). But the wine!!! Terribly over priced by the glass--some labels almost 4 times retail. No offerings by the bottle. It is the old "captive audience" deal as nothing is close by.

Since our first visit here a couple of years ago, we were looking forward to a return trip and were not disappointed. The pub is located in the Lake Placid Lodge, a Relais & Châteaux property located on Lake Placid. Mirror Lake is the body of water that is in the center of the village of Lake Placid. Lake Placid,... Stopped by for dinner whilst in Lake Placid. Very friendly and courteous service at this restaurant. The view is probably the best in the area-long lake views with islands interspersed . The food was excellent-flank steak special with baby fresh vegetables and berry crisp for desert. Reasonably priced and nicely served. We will definitely be back.

First off I've eaten at Maggie's/Artisan almost a dozen times, and have found the experience either acceptable and sometimes excellent (including a great Thanksgiving dinner last year) except for my last visit. Without exception the service is always friendly and the ambience can't be beat. But the check is never low either. Unfortunately we we're all disappointed in our meal... More

I have been a long time customer at the Lake Placid Lodge's two restaurants: Maggie's Pub and The Artisan. I stopped going to the Artisan because it was too pricey for the quality of the food. Maggie's pub offered good food most of the time. When we took our in-laws this past weekend for dinner the food was so mediocre... More

As a many time visitor to Lp lodge, I continue to be thrilled by the place. You don't have to stay in the sublimely decorated and tended to rooms, though, to get the best of an adirondack great camp experience. Just go to Maggie's, take in the spectacular view and then head to the bar. Laurie, the bartender is a... More

I love the atmosphere of Maggie's. For one thing, it's a great place to gather and see friends. For another, the waitstaff is friendly and attentive. And you can't beat the setting on the shores of Lake Placid. That is worth the drive all on its own. The menu is somewhat limited, the food good but the prices a bit... More
