Excellent crepes

The crêpes here are outstanding, but the side items leave something to be desired. I had breakfast here and got an egg, ham, and cheddar crepe. It was one of the best crêpes I have had. But the homefries that came with it tasted like they had been sitting around too long, as did the bacon I... read more

I had to settle in the middle with 3 stars. I had the pear/Blue cheese/walnut crepe which was excellent. My 15 year old son had the BLT wrap (can't remember the name of it) and it was nothing more than a scooby snack. I can't believe they would send that out of the kitchen. For about $10, it was the... I had the #49 Pesto Chicken Crepe that was accompanied with a side alad. Delicious. I would go back.

I owned a Deli Cafe for 9 years. We used Boar's Head Deli Provisions. I thought we had the best sandwiches around. Nope. This place Big Mountain does by a long shot. You must go in there. They have 46 sandwiches named after the 46 peaks in the Adirondack Mountains. The best thing about Lake Placid. Right here on Main... More

Tried this place twice while in town. Loved the chicken and curry crepe. Enjoyed the dessert crepe we had too, so delicious. Would definitely go back

I really don't get the hype around this place. To be fair, we did not have the crepes, which seem to be their specialty. I had the Cobble Mountain Salad, which tasted OK, but kept repeating on me the rest of the day and was certainly not worth 10$. My husband had what was supposed to be a large bowl... More

Maybe it's not a good idea to hit this place mid-week in late winter. We went for breakfast, expecting yummy crepes as described in so many reviews. Anticipating an afternoon of XC skiing, I decided to go decadent and sweet and ordered a "French toast bread pudding" crepe. What I got was an extremely tough (could hardly cut it with... More

They have fantastic crepes, but don't wait too late in the day to go, as I think they close about 3pm. We have tried to go here for the past few years of visiting Lake Placid for my Birthday, but always lost track of time, and they were closed by the time we remembered. But this year, we remembered earlier,... More

I brought my family to Lake Placid for a brief but wonderful family vacation. I had heard about a fabulous fresh food creperie and deli on the main strip. I tried it out with my family in tow and couldn't have been more impressed! A friendly man behind the counter even greeted my family as we sat down and the... More

We had breakfast here during Presidents week. The place has a wast and wonderful selection of crepes, adding to their extensive list of sandwiches and other delicacies. We tried a variety of sweet and savory crepes - which were made at our order within 10 minutes!
