The food was reasonably good; the service was excellent. It certainly is worth a visit. They worked with our adult daughters dietary special issues.

Ate here on a Sunday night celebrating our anniversary. We were afraid we would be over dressed however the ambience is everything from casual to super dressy! Fireplace lit, and music on, food was great, hot and very eclectic we loved it.

Excellent menu and food quality for a family style restaurant. Faces the main street of LP. Try the Nachoes, the Wings, or any of the Burgers. Large Portions and great taste. Excellent service Great Dinner and Breakfast (went to both)

While staying at the High Peaks Resorts with my parents and our kids, we let the grandparents put the kids to bed and ran down for a beer. Lots of good beers on tap and great breakfast in the morning.

Great service and views! Excellent French Onion Soup! Chili is served in a cast iron skillet with melted cheese and a mini corn muffin; however it was a little spicy for my wife! Our waitress was very attentive and efficient!

2013Mike, thank you so much for stopping in to see us at Dancing Bears and I’m very glad you enjoyed your visit. Everyone in our party ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. Fish n chips were fresh, ribs were finger lickin good, the skirt steak was very tender and the burger was very tasty.

Visited the dancing bears with a group of friends while staying in lake placid for the night. The menu is fairly average, pizza burgers, etc. I got the Berkeley burger which had lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado and thousand island dressing. The burger was awesome! It was a perfect medium rare, the fries weren't anything special but the burger more than... More

Food was mediocre, but palatable, service very slow, though friendly, food average but the view and atmosphere makes up what's lacking.
