Good Eats!

We have a least one meal here every summer when we camp nearby. Nice variety of meals and libations. We always have good and friendly service and the prices are affordable. We enjoy informal, yet attractive ambiance.

I am every surprised that natchos can be so badly prepared. The natchos were covered with cheezwiz that had hardened and dried to a crisp so one cannot take one chip at a time. It was a mound of blue, red and yellow corn chips glued together by cheezwiz and covered with some sour cream and diced tomatoes.

Staff not very friendly and slow. My husband rates his dinner of slab o ribs baked potato, and coleslaw as less than desired. All the food tasted like it had been in a warmer all day. The coleslaw had minimal dressing, more like very watered down😝 my food, grilled chicken breast in maple sauce was delicious as well as the... More

We went to Dancing Bears for breakfast. The place was not very crowded and it took awhile for workers to notices we were there waiting for a table. Once seated, the service was slow. The food was average and the coffee was horrible. Very strong, made me feel sick the rest of the day.

Expected more based upon the reviews. Decent food but unexceptional, especially for the price. Location is fabulous. Outdoor deck upstairs is perfect with views of Mirror Lake.

We ate here because it was close to the outdoor venue where the Lake Placid Symphonietta plays on Wednesday evernings. The service was good but the menu was lacking.

There should be something for everyone here. I highly recommend the Maple Dijon Chicken breast. It was so good, I plan to order it when I go back later this week. I would like the children's menu to be a little more diverse, but that would be my only real criticism.

Nice restaurant right at the edge of town. Perfect place to eat, then walk and shop. Fun town and great place to eat. We got the ribs and fish and chips. Perfect!

Very nice place for lunch or dinner. Great menu, great burgers and salads. Bar service available. Definitely worth the wait for roof top seating.

My family and I had an early lunch the other day before taking a walk around the lake. Great food, not to expensive. love the kids menu and the coloring activities provided. Excited to try the dinner menu soon.
