Stopped by for lunch on a recent trip to Lake Placid. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. He made some nice recommendations for other activities to do in town. The friends I was with did the beer flight and they seemed to really enjoy it. I am not a huge beer drinker myself. The atmosphere of the restaurant is... More

We had read reviews of the pub online and were thinking of heading here during our 1 night in Lake Placid but when we drove through from Canada and one of the USA Border Patrol guards also told us to visit we decided we had to! The beer was great, large selection but we only had 1 each and decided... More

Before I begin I must say I'm not rating anything about this restaurant other than the first impression of the downstairs bar later at night. We walked in around 11 pm and were immediately greeted by the bartender he threw down a couple menus and said "beer". Okay, we're from out of town but both my boyfriend and I are... More

We went for lunch in the main dining area and were told that there was a 45 minute wait. We chose to go downstairs to the bar area and am pleased that we did. It is a first come first serve to the tables but got one quickly. You have to go to the bar for menus and to place... More

The food is good and very reasonable but what really makes this a great place are their craft brews. I love their Fall pumpkin and fest beers while my husband is a big fan of their UBU ale. He loves that he can get a growler to go. I'd definitely recommend this stop for any beer fans.

We had to wait a while as it was a long weekend but all the more time to enjoy their truly great beers (and I'm a brewmaster so have drunk a few ales in my time!) Food was typical pub grub.

Good food for a reasonable price. Be sure to put your name down for a table on arrival. They will beep you when it is ready. Ribs were the meatiest I have ever tasted. Lovely coconut flan. They sell beers to go, so if you are staying across the road, take some back and sit around the fire pit. Enjoyable... More

We stopped in for a pint of pumpkin ale and some food. The bartender was amazing and friendly, the beer was delicious and the ambiance was great! Definitely recommend this stop.

They have a toy room for the smaller children. Food and service for our large group was excellent. Would definitely go again.
