Excellent Brews, Good Food

We had dinner on the 2nd floor at the LP Pub and Brewery twice this week. The first night we tried a beer sampler and loved it. My husband had the shepherd's pie special and said it was good but the gravy (on the side) tasted canned. I had raw veggies and breads with hummus and ranch - all... read more

Excellent place!!!!. Great knowledgeable staff, friendly, and helpful to offer area suggestions. Alan my server was awesome and helpful in suggesting other local places. Will definitely go back and suggest to others. Great local beer too, try the slider IPA!

Parking was a pain in the butt. Other than that the place was great. There is a louder party bar downstairs which would be a ton of fun w a group. But there is also dudining and a quiet bar upstairs. Good food, great service. No issues. Delicious beer. I personally like the brown ale. The ipa was a little bitter... More

My wife and I returned to this popular spot after not having visited for several years. On St. Patrick's Day, no less, we were seated for lunch and were served promptly. This establishment really does do pub fare, and people were in and out filling and exchanging growlers or just enjoying a meal with friends. My wife had the corned... More

We have been here more times that I can count as we have been coming up here for ten years. We love the beer and that is still amazing! They recently expanded and it seems now they are more about quantity versus quality. The usual staple dishes we order that are usually very good we're not even close to par.... More

Good food and service. Draft beers were good (their lighter beer and an Ubu). Chicken sandwich was the highlight, nicely charred but still juicy. Not the best place for kids; we had a hightop table near the bar). Service was fine. Overall, food was good and we cleaned our plates but nothing extraordinary.

We decided to give this restaurant a try so we could try some of the different beers. We also had our 4 year old grandson with us, so eating out sometimes can be tricky. We were escorted to the third floor of the restaurant, and to our amazement, there was a little room with lots of toys and things for... More

Beer was good, food was average. The grilled chicken for my salad was very salty. My husband ordered the brisket, which was tough and dry.

A fun place to go for different beers and pub food. On the back side of Mirror Lake. They have a deck for the warm months. Always busy.

A little noisy, but it is a pub. The upstairs loft is a nice quiet alternative. The food is great, easily our fave restaurant in Lake Placid.
