Great view, terrific food

The owner cannot do enough for you as a customer. The service and food are fantastic. The view is stunning from his roof top cafe. You can see his gardens where all the vegetables are grown. It doesn't get any fresher than that!

Terrific food, nice surroundings and a really friendly owner who can't do enough for you. A great base from which to explore the gorge.

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights at this adorable, family owned restaurant and guesthouse. It was evident that the family are very proud owners and strive to give all of their customers an authentic Moroccan experience. We ate some of our best meals in Morocco here (we spent 1 month travelling so thats saying a lot). The flavours were... More

We stopped off at this restaurant after a visit to the beautiful Todra Gorge. The ambience was lovely and we dined on the rooftop terrace. The food was very fresh and delicious, and the bubbling chicken tagine we had there was one of the best meals on our trip. The owner and his wife were extremely hospitable and friendly, which... Stopped into this small place after visiting the spectacular Todra Gorge. The friendly owner took us up to the terrace, which had a lovely view out over the valley on one side and a street side scene on the other. Food was home made, tasty, served bubbling hot in a tagine, and seemed just perfect for the setting. The owner... More

We ate here based on previous reviews. As described it works well to stop and order then go to the Todra Gorge and return to your meal. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. He speaks English very well. Our food was very fresh and tasty. We had his mother's Berber pizza and a Berber omelet. He also gave us... More

Stumbling upon this gem establishment hidden beneath the massive dodres gorge was a highlight of our ten day trip to morocco. It was 3 in the afternoon, long past traditional dining hours, and the restaurant was relatively empty by the time we entered. Without hesitation a smiling man with an ear to ear grin welcomed us into the beautiful home... More

We really enjoyed the food and the friendly service. It has a lovely view and well, it just couldn't have been nicer. There are also rooms available if you are looking to stay the night. Part of the enjoyment was the friendliness of the family.

By chance, I stopped here on my way to the gorges. My lunch was a delightful surprise. The food was delicious, and the proprietor couldn't have been more welcoming. I believe the food was so good because all the ingredients are grown locally. The view is stunning with windows overlooking the steep incline on which the restaurant is perches. The... More

Our family drove across Morocco to visit the Sahara and stopped off for an afternoon to visit the Todra Gorge. The restaurant has a perfect location on the main road that leads to the gorge. The space is beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained. We stopped for lunch and were served one of the best meals of our entire trip. We... More
