great food and reasonable prices

The food was very good and our server was excellent. The matzo ball soup is not to be missed. The dinner plates are large.

The best New York Pastrami outside NYC. The sandwiches at this classic Jewish deli are to die for. They are enormous, so big you have a hard time fitting a bite in your mouth. Try the pastrami, the beef brisket, or the corned beef. Have a classic potato knish with it and maybe a cream soda. Their soups are delicious... More

I love going here, basic yummy huge sandwiches, one of my mom's favorite places, so it brings back great memories. Get the cornbeef, or pastrami.

Cole slaw, rye bread, and pickles, and that's before you have even ordered your food. Friendliness is not to be found here but great food is--- rib eye streaks, Hungarian goulash, chicken in a pot, and giant hotdogs! All cooked just like grandma would make it. And if you want a sandwich, Zan's has a wide variety to chose from-... More

We used the GPS and it directed us to Zans, 20 minutes away but we would have driven further after we ate our sandwich. The Pickles fabulous & the Coleslaw great. Atmosphere just ok but the service wonderful and the food fantastic. We will return again and again

Zan's serves traditional standard NY kosher deli fare. This use to be a Ben's and has maintained a similar menu and atmosphere

Good for lunch or dinner or when the mood moves you for deli. You get a thick sandwich with fresh meat and the usual pickles and slaw. Now don't forger your Dr. Brown's Cream Soda or Celery Soda.

Love this place it's no frills and super casual so much so that if your waitress is disinterested you don't even care. You'll never get a gold star for service but the food is obviously hand made with love. It's more of a deli with some diner like seating in the back. The pastrami and corn beef is amazing. They... An old fashioned sit-down kosher restaurant with plenty of tables and booths, plus, a big dining room in back. Free pickles on the table immediately , service is quick and efficient . The food is never disappointing. Giant pastrami and corned beef sandwiches you can't get your mouth around, they're so thick.Great derma, so-so latkes, enormous matzo balls in the... More

It feels terrible that one of the few kosher delis on long island has to become so horrible.. this restaurant used to be a weekly favorite and now we will drive into commack to find a decent kosher eli.
