The family and I enjoyed a delicious meal. The service was great and the food delicious. It is a quaint log cabin, decorated very nicely. The wood burning stove added to it's warmth.

This place is a log cabin and is warm and inviting. I go here every year when I am at a meeting at the Fort William Conference Center. Food was good, service was great. I would have given five stars but I thought the food was a bit underseasoned...nevertheless very good

We were part of the surfside dinner package so we decided to try east cove. It was a little further from town but a nice surprise. I thought it was great that if you didn't want anything on the surfside menu that was included you could get a credit and order something different. We had an awesome waitress named Clara.... More

We found very few restaurants open on a Tuesday in early October, at least on the main drag by the lake and were delighted by East Cove. It has the feel of a place where the locals eat & drink - a small bar and cozy dining room. The menu is diverse and we had a hard time making a... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant. The homemade coleslaw is awesome! Lots of staff present, but service was just okay, and so was the rest of the meal. We waited a long time for drinks, and once our food was served, we didn't see a waitperson until long after we were finished. We would have loved another cocktail, but couldn't get... More

This was recommended to us by the desk clerk of the motel we were staying at in Lake George. We went for a Sunday brunch/buffet. The food was so wonderful and the people could not have been nicer. They don't have a huge selection, which was great - everything was fresh and hot and home made. The scrambled eggs were... More

We had a very nice meal here with friends. The food was good and the service was great. Their mixed drinks are also very good. The only negative was that they had run out of lobsters before we got there.

Very few good choices for restaurants in Lake George itself. In nearby towns you can do much better. Normal tourist town service, prices and average food quality. A few dishes that would are good but over all very run of the mill. Drinks are expensive, $9 for a mixed drink (tiny, too).

After spending time in the tourist trap area of Lake George we received a tip to go here. A great choice. Good food. Good prices. Nice staff. Same owner for years, his family and the locals were there as well. I had the prime rib (blackened) and the wife had the fish. Both great meals. A good selection of local... More

I had reservations about going to this place, but it was much better than i thought it would be. I'd go back again.
