East Cove provides a very warm and pleasant atmosphere, and the food and drinks are consistently good. The servers are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. There is ample parking, and the restaurant is in a very convenient location.

This is my second time at east cove and it was not as good as the first time I was there. The service was very good and the food was just ok. We were part of the surfside package and the only extra charge was for the drink. They even gave us apple dumplings to go because we didn't want... More

The meal was terrible but worse than that was the owners wife not caring about our disappointment. Perhaps if was because we had a groupon coupon. 5 old sad shrimp in the shrimp cocktail------the chicken dinner tasted old-the prime rib was small and we were charged for a larger piece,- We are locals and are embarrassed by The East cove.

This was our first time to East Cove; our original choice was George's Restaurant next door, but we found out George's had recently had a fire so we went to East Cove. The hostess was not friendly and was a little bit abrupt. It wasn't busy as we were one of the first parties to arrive. Despite that, our server... More

Had to walk out after waiting 1hr and 15 minutes an still no entrees. 4 adults, 2 kids. Spoke to manager who didn't care and had no time for us. Terrible and expect better. Didn't help that we sat next to a table of animals. Again manage mgt turned a blind eye. Anything to pay the rent right? Do yourself... More

The East Cove has been around forever and we have often eaten there. Lobster night (Wed.) is our terrific, but the restaurant itself could use some updating--carpet is old and the place is dusty, though the log cabin 'feel' appeals to us. Their eggplant parm is outstanding as is their chicken picotta. Otherwise, the food has too much salt. Friendly... More

Ate at this location because Georges was closed. Was pleasantly surprised with the food although there wasnt anything that really stood out it was an average meal. The bread, salad, NY strip steak, baked potato and chhescake all average and I thought just a little pricey, but with rising beef prices maybe not. This place had an active bar and... More

Tried East Cove after a local recommended it to us. The inside of the restaurant is very cozy and clean. The waitstaff was friendly. I had a pasta primavera with scallops and shrimp. Delicious. They did not skimp on the seafood. My husband was also pleased with his chicken dish. We will definitely return next time we vacation in Lake... More

We had a Groupon which allowed us to order relatively freely on the menu. We stuck mostly to the specials, and that turned out to be a good choice. The prime rib and lobster were cooked perfectly well. The chicken (that wasn't ordered off the specials) was a little dry, however. The decor is a little busy, but interesting. The... More

Beware if you take the salad bar only, the 8 variety will cost you a whopping $9.00. The salad bar itself is NOT on the menu so they will charge you whatever they wish. Three different days....3 different prices however going one way...up. When I talked to the manager, she said "this is what the owner told me to charge... More
