great show with good food

The dinner theater is located right in the lobby of the hotel so it was very convenient. There were two shows a night, so we had a choice. The food was actually very good, as was the service in the theater.

It was nice to see a movie, while sitting comfortably and eating at a table, enjoying ourselves and our surroundings.

I don't expext good food when I go to a dinner theatre. But, my beef and my wife's chicken were really quite excellent. The ladies we were sitting loved their salmon and vegetarian pasta. NOW, the play...oh dear was it bad. The play itself, was not very well writren. But tbe direction and acting were far from professional quality. VERY... More

We have been to the dinner theatre for the last five years. As seniors we qualify for the discount which makes this venue very affordable. The food is always good, and the shows are top notch. This year the show was a bit different. Although billed as a comedy, it was very far from that. It was very welled performed,... More

We had the best time at the Lake George Dinner Theater. I'll review the food then the play. Food-This is one of those places where you get to pick one of four meals. The choices were good, Beef, Chicken, Salmon or Vegetarian. The food was pretty good for this type of setup. Usually this canned sort of menu is like... More

The food was decent. It is served table side. You may be sitting with strangers but the family we sat with were lovely. The play had a great storyline that anyone can identify with. The actors were unexpectedly great. All in all it was well worth it. Look around town on an info rack for $9 off per person and... More

When a blizzard traps a family together in their tavern in Buffalo, NY, both comedy and drama ensue. The Lake George Dinner Theatre's production of "Lake Effect" at the Holiday Inn is funny, poignant, and very well acted by a cast of professional actors. The theatre is intimate, so even when there's a full house (as there was the night... More

Had not been to dinner and a show at the theater for several years. Went to see this summer's show Lake Effect, partly because the setting was Buffalo, NY in 1977 during the blizzard of the century, but mostly because it was an anniversary gift. Both the show and the dinner were a pleasant surprise. The dinner choices were good,... More

You'll realize the minute you pull up front this is not your average Holiday inn. Great views of the lake, fire pit aglow, and a wonderful bar and featuring. The dinner theatre is great with all tables near the stage, never a bad vs how and the food extraordinary. Service is impeccable and the salmon. Chicken choice or beef entree... More

What a wonderful show! And the actors were so talented! We really enjoyed our dinner! The food was great - huge piece of salmon with a delicious dill sauce. Not a bad seat in the house. We will be back for next year's show.
