The waitress knows this review was coming. Went to this place with eight friends, sat on the deck overlooking the road. Right next to the deck, on the ground was uncut grass and weeds with old tables, trash and junk. We started to get attacked by bugs, not a couple, but a invasion of what looked like flying ants/termites they... More

If you're going to be a seafood restaurant called the lobster pot, the lobster sandwich better be fresh. Instead the lobster sandwich for $17 tasted like it was previously frozen, and now tasteless lobster. The lobster bisque was so crazy salty, that I asked if they could fix it, I tried adding some hot water, and it was ruined. The... More

We stopped here on our first night in Lake George. Given the decor of the place (it's a bit worn out), we were a bit stunned at the prices on the menu. We ordered "The Full Pot" (a $62 seafood sampler with quite a bit to choose from) to split three ways (two adults, one child). There were additional charges... More

My Family was told this was a great place to eat. We ordered the Fisherman platter and the kids orders Shrimp. The first bite of the Cod had no TASTE. Then the clam strips had the same flavor...NONE. OK, lets try the Red Potato, they were so dry I cut the roof of my mouth....wow, this isn't going good. Lets... More

The restaurant is a nice enough place and the staff was friendly but after eating dinner, two members of our party spent the night getting sick. They both had sushi. We would recommend staying away from the seafood and stick with the safer foods there. Good luck!

Went here on our last night at Lake George. I had lobster with the bisque and some vegetables and red potatoes. Lobster was good, vegetables overlooked and potato was bland and flavourless. Husband had the steak and he said it was very nice. Ambience not amazing and the plastic white tables and chairs do not encourage you to linger but... More

Maybe the open parking spot on the curb near the restaurant was the "signal". This place was crowded in the "outside" area, plastic chairs/tables and somewhat busy inside. WHY, I have no idea. We ordered a salad and lobster. The salad looked like it was left over from the Easter Buffet (our visit was in August) and the lobster was... More

If you're into paying $20 for a plate of frozen vegetables, frozen potato wedges and watery crab cakes fried in old oil, then this is the place for you. If not, try somewhere else. A complete insult to people who work hard for their money.

The food was good and the atmosphere is very nautical. I had crab cakes which where good but lacked large pieces of crab. My wife had a lobster roll which was good but not exactly what she wanted. She wanted a lobster roll that was just lobster covered in drawn butter. Their lobster roll is lobster salad on a New... More
