Friendly, chef owned dining run by a family who not only lives upstairs but truly cares. They always have time to talk to you, tell jokes or let you know how pleased they are to see. You. Better than average pizza, pasta disheds and salads. Great. Cozy atmosphere.

Living in Lake George and being single I often go out to eat alone. The owner's and staff at the Rain Tree always make me feel at home. The new dining room and sports bar is beautiful and the food is great. If you want a place that appreciates your patronage, treat's you as family and makes you feel at... More

After reading the Tripadvisor reviews on the RainTree, we figured we'd give it a shot. Boy, were we disappointed. We were a party of 10 and they had reserved a table for us since we called ahead. The atmosphere was nice and our waitress was decent enough, but we were all disappointed with the food. The entrees were not cheap,... More

My extended family and I have been coming to Lake George for over 30 years. We love our vacation here. However, the food has always left something to be desired. A few years ago we stumbled upon the Raintree. The food was above average for Lake George! We thought we had finally found a place to enjoy a good meal.... More

We arrived around 5:00. Four adults and 2 children (4yrs. and 6yrs.). We were given a hearty greeting at the door and the waitresses could not do enough to please the kids, from bringing coloring books to putting a cartoon show on one of the TVs. They overheard that it was my grand daughter's birthday and surprised her with a... More

Felt at home the whole time. Going in a restaurant for dinner alone is not always a good experience. This was great. The Garlic Parmesean Wings were to die for. Eggplant sliced thinly and fried was amazing with a side of pasta and Italian bread oh it's so.... good. My Martini was just the way I like it dirty and... More

Been coming to Lake George for 15 years. Went here on a Tuesday night, there were only about a dozen people in restaurant, waitress said she would put tables together for us to eat at, (we had nine people in our party) the owner abruptly came out yelling that she would not be putting tables together for us and told...
