I LOVE the Blue Moose! My family and I eat there often. The food is delicious and the atmosphere friendly and welcoming! The portions are just right (often, however, we have to doggie bag). It's delicous home cooking (so if you're looking for mass produced entree's then perhaps the Golden Coral might be your better bet). Live entertainment often at... More

I spent five nights in Queensbury while doing a project at a nearby camp. Hands down, this was the best meal I had that week and one of the best in recent memory. An associate and I went here almost on a lark. We had been bound for another place further up the road but stopped here instead with no... More

Really good food! We sat in the bar at a high top, waitress was very attentive and friendly. Food came out quickly and was delicious, wings, calamari, sandwiches and dessert too. Prices reasonable, would come back!

The metal moose sculpture out front has always piqued my interest, so we decided to give this place a try. The sculpture is far more interesting than the food or atmosphere. The tables and chairs were mismatched generic restaurant furniture that would have more in place at a local non-descprit pizza or Chinese joint than in a tavern. The young... More

Spent a night out here with friends. Bartender was more worried about her social life than getting our drinks. It took too long for our appetizers to come out of the kitchen. Food was okay, but $9 for nachos seemed a little pricey.

After spending all day at the Great Escape we decided to take a trip and find a cozy place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The blue moose "looked" like the perfect place. As soon as you enter in the band they had playing was extremely loud. We were not greeted and had to hunt down a waitress. Upon... More

Breathtaking view, great food, service and a reasonable price. We talked about this place on our drive home and told all our friends about it. This is my second time here and I would recommend it to anyone. The view of Lake George is stunning and unforgettable. Prices were very reasonable.

Went with family of 3 on 7/5. Waitress came over took our drink order, took our dinner order and vanished. I had to go to server station to ask for silverware. Meals came but only two. Waited 3 minutes then the pasta with olive oil finally came out (Pasta?). Two dinners were ok though the stuffed pork had a bit... More

We dinedthere last night after reading their ad in the local tourist publication; as they claimed incredible focus on great ingredients, recipes, presentation, and service. I strongly disagree. Salads were mixed greens, poorly presented, and served wth a refrigerated plastic cup of dressing. OK, not so bad, but hardly well presented. My problem was the main course. I ordered the pork... We had been travelling for many hours and stopped to get a motel for the night and then find somewhere to eat, it was 9pm. We had just passed the Blue Moose and went back there. First impression was that it was a bit run down but there were some colourful characters in the bar who were very welcoming. The... More
