Food is terrible, service was good, but I do believe that this must be one of, if not, the last Howard johnson's standing just go for the history of the chain!

Do Not go to the Howard Johnson's in Lake George NY. The food was terrible had the meatloaf it was a mess of meat swimming in grease. The so called salad bar was a joke the only good thing was the service are waitress was nice and did a good job. This is the last Howard Johnson's and I think... More

Our waitress was very friendly and did a good job serving us and making us feel valued. Our breakfast was good but no "Stand Out" and was over priced. The service is the restaurant's Best attribute. We may give Dinner a try at a later date Michael Evans

We were looking for a new place for breakfast on a Sunday morning and decided to give Howard Johnson's a shot, not a good decision. Took a while to get coffee and then longer to get a menu. Was told the fruit bar was included, it was cheap canned fruit. Had a steak and egg special, have no idea what... More

went there today, a beautiful fall afternoon.. not many people there when we went in but soon there were several more small groups.. the place is not too bad.. not perfect but the server was friendly and we had basic grilled cheese and ham with fries.. Both were hot, and tasted fine.. no problems at all.. the coffee was good... More

Those of us who may have grown up with a HoJo's nearby may be lured to this one just for old times sake which is exactly what we did on a recent visit to Lake George. This particular location re-opened in January 2015 but highly doubt it will remain a landmark of Lake George Village. Bring your wallet because the... More

We had been meaning to go check it out since it reopened. We finally got a chance today. We were seated as soon as we walked in by a friendly server. I was a little surprised by the prices, but when I saw the portions that were being served, it all made sense! The clam roll was huge! Add a... More

According to them, this is the last HOJO in existence. If so, it is being preserved as a museum. It has not be updated in years, had a serious bee problem when we arrived and the food over priced and served is a literal pool of grease.

I should have read the previous review before deciding to go to Howard Johnson's with friends. At first glance of the menu, I noticed that the breakfast menu did NOT have much of a selection and I noticed the prices of almost $10.00 for just two eggs, hash browns and toast. I was going to get a blueberry pancake for... More

Visited Lake George this past weekend with my elderly mother,my daughters and my 3 grandaughters. While downtown in the village, we were trying to figure out where we were going to have lunch prior to heading back home. I suggested a restaurant downtown, my mother asked if we could go to HoJos since it had been almost 40 years since... More
