Was looking forward to eating here as soon as I got off the exit and found the "for sale" sign posted. WILL SOMEBODY OUT THERE PLEASE CONSIDER BRINGING THIS BACK TO IT'S FORMER GLORY???? We lost our area one to the wrecking ball several years ago. This one needs to be saved! Please note the above rating had to be... More

Was there last season and the place was busy. Service was not bad, tough to think it is one of the last HoJo's in the World! Go for the memories!

My wife and I were very excited to pass by a Howard Johnson's on our vacation to Lake George. Oh wow, who knew there were still HOJO restaurants still around? We thought it'd be fun to check it out. WOOF - were we wrong. We had the breakfast buffet which was quite gross/below average. The food was nothing special. The... More

I was so excited when I found out that there was still a Howard Johnson's Restaurant in Lake George, NY. Growing up Howard Johnson's was one of our families favorite restaurants to visit while on vacation. No matter where you went there was always a Howard Johnson's near by. I still have my Howard Johnson's plastic bank, eraser and mirror... More

I go here for the fried clams. Have liked them ever since I was a kid. Not sure why they taste so good, but they do. Buffets are also excellent. Depending on who your waiter/waitress is, service can vary from excellent to terrible.

We went in for the breakfast buffet and paid for it the whole day. Eating here ruined our trip to six flags. I am not sure how eggs can be messed up but they did not taste like eggs. If all they have on there menu is scrambled eggs either there eggs are not eggs or that is all they... More

This restaurant is one of the last three Howard Johnson restaurants in the world, and it does a great job of respecting that tradition. We went here last September, on the last night of operation for the year (they are only open from May-September). I was with my parents, and they remembered the days when HoJos dotted the landscape. My... More

We were in Lake George for the weekend, and Howard Johnson's was our restaurant for that time. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The restaurant has been recently remodeled, and looks fresh and new inside. Lots of tall windows make it bright and airy. The restaurant was very clean, as were the bathrooms. One of the managers, Pat, was... More
