There isn't much not to like about Middle Eastern food, so it was easy to choose Ali Baba Express for a mid-day meal with friends while on a weekend in Lake George. The restaurant features Turkish food; the restaurant is nicely decorated; and spotlessly clean. Service was prompt and friendly although the place was busy. As I often do in... More

My family and I love Mediterranean food, especially the gyros! Every time we go on a trip gyro is always on our food list. We went to this restaurant and ordered gyros and the mixed grilled meats. They were exceptionally great, they make their own gyro bread. Unlike other restaurants, they use the store bought ones which is not fresh... More

Going to be honest- after reading the reviews I had pretty high expectations of the place. Service was mediocre and the food was nothing worth raving about at all. Chicken and lamb lacked flavor. The chicken tasted as if it was frozen then thrown on the grill without being thawed. Beware- the portions are much smaller than pictured. Overall it... More

Our family of four ordered the hummos, Shish Kebob pizza, Greek salad, gyros, curried chicken and Iskender chicken. All were excellent and were served quickly enough. The service was very pleasant. The place was very clean as far as we could see and the interior was attractive and comfortable. All in all, an outstanding dinner.

The saving grace at this restaurant is the lavash bread which is excellent, especially when served piping hot from the oven. We had the beef/lamb gyro and the falafel wrap; both were average, the falafels were undercooked. The hummus was good. We did takeout and while the gentleman making the lavash was friendly, the wait staff were abrupt, bordering on... More

Small restaurant with quick, friendly service. Our family ordered the freshly made bread, Greek salad, gyro sandwich, chicken kabobs and the grilled meat platter which came with lamb, chicken and beef. Everything was excellent especially the gyro and the lamb chops. We enjoyed the meal and the service.

This place is rated highly on TA and Google. I thought the food was just OK. It is different from what you see in Lake George. The service was fine. My Greek salad was wet. The stuffed grape leaves were OK. The baba ganoush was so so. The bread was fresh. The tzatziki sauce had too much dill and not... More

Freshly made middle eastern cuisine. Good service, great tea. Flat Bread made on the spot to die for.

An average at best Mediterranean place. The gyro and falafel were average. I have had much better. But it is on the main strip and your in lake George not much of a choice for Mediterranean. If I had know I would have gotten the lamb kabobs instead of the gyro. The Tzatziki sauce was ok, again I have had... More

I love all kinds of food and this place provided a nice lunch option that was different from all the available restaurants in Lake George Village. It wasn't the absolute best falafel that I have had, but it was a nice dish and we all enjoyed our food. For the kids - a pizza that isn't. Super cheesy and delish.... More
