How does anyone like the food in this place?? 4-5 stars?? Really?? The must have a lot of family members writing fake reviews. I took my family there and we tried a few different plates and one was worst than the other. For ex, the beef/lamb gyro did not look or taste like a gyro...didn't even taste fresh. I am... More

We have eaten there a couple of time and the food is always good and fresh. Both times though we have had the same problems with service. Unfortunately they have very limit wait staff and even though the drinks include refills don't plan an getting one. Also it can take a very long time to get the check

Let me first say that the Lavash bread is excellent and that would the the only reason anyone should ever visit this place. Unfortunately the rest of the food is just atrocious. If I could give this place negative stars then I would. I ordered mix grill platter. I can honestly say I've never had someone screw up grilled meats... More

The only dish that was just ok were the stuffed grape leaves. They lacked enough acid/lemon juice and were too mushy. Hummus was garlicky and creamy. Bread was puffy and fresh. The chicken kebab curry over rice was superb and my favorite if you like moderately spicy. Baklava was yummy and soft almost juicy which sounds weird but was delicious.... More

When Ali Baba opened up years ago there prices were more reasonable than they are now. I have noticed that the prices went up and the portions got a bit smaller. If you NEED to eat Mediterranean food, than eat here, but you will pay a good bit. The food is great and has always been, but they need to... More

This will be our first stop next time we are in Lake George! We were surprised to see Mediterranean food in a little adk town so we had to try it and we were thrilled that it was delicious! The owners special yogurt sauce is the best I've had. We ordered out but the atmosphere is very nice and I'd... More

My wife and I were headed to the north side of Lake George on the weekend of 17 January. Not a whole lot is open in the winter. Ali Baba Express was open so we stopped to get carry out for dinner that night. Place was empty. It's not big inside, but comfortable/clean/fashionable. We placed an order for appetizers, gyros... There is not much to eat on the Northway between Albany and the border. We have made this a regular stop on our trips. In the off season, it is only open Friday-Sunday. It is family run and tastes like home cooking. They cook the lavash breads fresh for each order. No stale pita bread here. We've only gone for... More
